The light cast a beautiful rays to make her glow. Her long blue strands of hair silhouetted down to her hips. Her speckled freckles on her milky face where perfectly placed. Her cheeks where lightly blushed blue. She had the prettiest white toothy smile. She was a demon disguised as an angel. I was a young boy not even 193 I watched her tentatively. She had such caring weary blue eyes. I smiled.
"I love you luscious." She smiled.
I was about to speak back but was interrupted.
" Katherine." A males voice called.
We looked over. It's him. My smile disappeared.
"Get luscious to a safe place. Even if we can't survive. He has to. He has to carry out for the blue bloods." He explained. I tried to talk but got interrupted again.
"He's so young." She replied, fear was heard in he voice.
"Just cause he is young doesn't mean he is not destained for greatness...even if I don't believe it myself." The man gripped my arm very hard. Where he gripped was a bruise, one he made on his son. I let out a noise of pain, glaring at him. He knows I hate him. He doesn't care about my survival. He cares for the kingdom.
" You will survive and carry on as king, even If I dread that idea." He growled as he dragged me over to a corner. He lifted a couple floor boards to reveal there was a hole in the corner. He pushed me into the dark hole.
"Stay quiet." My mother whispered. The last time I saw her beautiful face. They place the floor boards over me.
It was damp, Cramped, and dark. I was scared for my mother. I looked around, but stayed placed in the corner. I was standing in dirt, and breathing dust.
My body jolted in fear as I heard the door bust open. I hold my breath . Shadow cascaded through the floor boards. Red. I see red. It sticks out like a sore thumb among the blue. I know who it was too. King akamoto. Of the red kingdom. My parents talked about war with them. At one point red was a higher blood ranking than blue.(When blue went into power.red downgraded in ranking.)
My heart beat was rapid with fear. Next I heard bloody screams. His and...........Hers. I tried to plug my ears. But it didn't help. It echoed. It Rung in my ears. I looked up. Blue leaked though the floor boards. I covered my mouth. Tears fell from my eyes. He tightly shut his eyes as tears streamed down his face.
Blue shot up, with a gasp. He was sweating, beads of sweat dripped. Tears where streaming down his face, as much as there was in his dream. He panted as he swung his legs slowly off the bed. He stood up, wobbling a bit. He ran he fingers over scars on his palms. The wooden floor boards where cold He felt a bit numb from fear. He grabbed a silk robe and walked out to the veranda. looking up at the black moon surrounded by the red sky.
Red.
The very thing he hates, More than black.
