I was still in shock this morning of what had happened last night. I felt bad for Brady, though, because he took all the blame when I was the one that snuck out against my father's wishes to go out with him. I thought this day couldn't get worse, but I was wrong.
It all started when Boomer came screaming down the stairs. I asked him what was wrong and he looked like he was in shock. I noticed he was holding something in his hand. He saw me staring at it and he handed it to me.
It was a letter from Brady. I read it out loud:
Dear Boom,
I decided I'm not worthy enough to be king of this island like our parents. I've been thinking it for a while and last night just proved it. So, I'm sorry this is last minute, but I decided I'm moving back to Chicago. I'm sorry it had to end this way, but I'm sure you'll do good as a king alone. Hope to see you soon.
