Your P.O.V

I heard an obnoxious buzzing right next to my ear and slowly opened my eyes, slamming my hand down on my phone to try and turn off the alarm. The sudden movement caused dust to fly around the air, making me cough. I looked around the room and noticed that it was still slightly dark outside. About five or six in the morning, I would say. That would give me enough time to clean up the room a little more and shower afterwards before anyone even arrived.

I sighed and stood up, stretching my aching muscles. That couch may have been luxury at one point, but it sure as hell wasn't anymore. It had fabric torn, the frame falling apart, and the cushions were flattened out and stiff, nut at the moment it was the best I could do. There were several old props and random boxes scattered across the floor, but those could wait until later.

I quickly grabbed my notebook from my backpack and walked to the back of the room towards a couple of storage rooms. I opened the first one and found...costumes? Well that's a little odd. Wasn't this supposed to be a music room? One in particular that caught my eye was the most hideous, frilly pink dress that made me want to gag just looking at it.

"THAT will be the first thing to go..." I muttered to myself, shuddering slightly. I glanced around the storage room, realizing that it would take me hours just to clear out this one room alone. My mind flashed to a particularly cheerful idiot, and I actually found myself considering his offer. Well, that is, until I remembered that he asks too many personal questions.

I grumbled to myself as I ripped costume after costume off of its hanger and piled it up outside of the door onto the remaining old curtains I had torn down yesterday. It may take a while, but I should be able to get a decent amount of work done before school if I worked hard enough. The pile had slowly grown into a miniature mountain of frills and silk, so I took the edges of the curtains and tied them together, creating a sack of sorts to make it easier to carry.

I struggled to drag the massive pile of clothing down a flight of stairs and out of the back exit to the same dumpsters. To my surprise, they were already emptied of the curtains from yesterday. That's weird...someone must have emptied them yesterday while I was gone. I paused and looked around, scanning for any sign of life around and insidr the building. Finding nothing, I relaxed and headed back inside to get the second load. I had hardly even cleared out a tenth of all the costumes, and it had already taken me half an hour just to remove the first bunch.

I sighed as I took a considerably smaller pile down to the dumpsters, deciding that smaller loads would make it easier and faster to get rid of the horrible clothing. I walked out the back door once more, making my way over to the dumpster when I stopped in my tracks. Just like I had found it this morning, the dumpster was empty. Someone had been here.

I quickly looked around the back of the building, looking for any movements. Nothing seemed to move or make any sound, until out of the corner of my eye I spotted a tiny movement in a, strangely, open window near the very top of the building. To any normal person, it would have seemed like the wind blew the curtain around. Yet again, I'm not a normal person, now am I?

I crept inside, making my way up the stairs and wincing when the very last step creaks. It echoed throughout the building and off to my left, I heard some shuffling feet and muttering. I took a deep breath and carefully made my way over to the door, testing different spots of the floor to make sure I made as little sound as possible. The voice grew louder, then suddenly stopped rightas I was about to open the door.

I slowly turned the door knob and silently opened the door, slipping behind a statue in the room. I looked around the room, and walked over to the window once I realized no one was in the room. I quickly shut the window and looked out over the schoolyard, sighing slightly.
