He Captured My Heart

Chapter 1

I silently pray for tomorrow's contest of mine.

"Lord pls sana po manalo ako bukas. My goodness graciousness. I really wanted to won thant contest."

Bukas na yung Singing Idol na sinalihan ko sa school. I used to join singing contest on our barangay and in different places. I won last year on our street fiesta.

Mahilig talaga akong kumanta bata palang ako. Naaalala ko pa dati how I always getting the microphone to the one who's singing in my papa's bday.

"Happy Birthday Papaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" I sang

The visitors were cheering on me and all of them were amused while I was singing different nursery songs in our videoke.

Mama Nancy, my mother was very supportive. Lagi siya ang kasama ko sa pagsali sali sa mga ganyan. I also had a chance to join Little Miss Philippines in Eat Bulaga when I was 6 years old. But the funny part was I sang the other channel's song so I didn't past the audition.

"Oy anak ko galingan mo bukas ah. Para sakin kahit di ka naman manalo ang mahalaga ay maging maganda lang performance mo at kumanta ka sa stage. Masaya na kami dun." Mama reminded

"Oo naman ma noh para kaya sa inyo nila papa tong gagawin ko. Salamat ma *mwah*" -ako

My family always cheering me up to conquer all my dreams in life. And I am lucky for having them. I wanted to give them a better life in the future.

Kinabukasan eto na. Pumasok na ko sa school. Yung mga kalaban ko ayun kanya kanyang practice at meron din kaming practice na pang lahatan. Kasi may prod din lahat ng contestants.

Kuya BJ yung inarkila ni mama na magmake up sakin ay inumpisahan ng lagyan ng kolorete ang mukha ko. My adviser good lucked me and gave me her full support.

The contest proper starts and I really don't know what to do para lang mawala yung kaba ko kasi lahat ng taga TSIS ay manonood.

Damn I'm really nervous as hell. Then Kian enter the back stage.

"Jewel, I know you can do it! I know you can win that. I'll scream their kahit nakakahiya. Don't worry just enjoy your performance ok?." Kian said with smiling face

Imbis na mawala yung kaba sa puso ko mas lalong lumaki ito kasi dumating si Kian. Si Kian my one and only bestfriend at minamahal ko ng palihim. The way he told me his assurance sent shivers down to my spine. His smile triggers the butterflies in my stomach.

"Thank you for making me feel comfortable Kian." I hugged him because I feel safe with his bare arms.

When contestant number 9 finished, I enter the stage confidently. The crowds were cheering on my name and our section. I represents our section so I need to make them proud also.

The instrumental started to play. I sang the verses , chorus hanggang sa bridge na.

"AND I................... WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOUUUUUUU OHH- I will always love you"

Then a sudden explosion happens. The lights on our audio room turned off. I felt strange. Fear started to overcome my whole system.

The crowds were panicking and the noise really increase my fear.

Someone grab my hands. This one smells masculine so I think this is man. He is tall and damn I am affraid what might he'll do to me.

Bigla nalang niya kong binuhat at tinakpan ang ilong ko gamit ang panyo.

I inhale an unfamiliar scent. And everything went black.

I woke up in a strange room. Hindi ko alam kung nasan ako basta ang alam ko sobrang sakit ng ulo. Its unbearable.

I tried to remember what happened. And Fear started to grow again. A man grabbed me from the stage when there was a sudden explosion and the lights turned off when I was singing.

I roam my eyes in the room. It looks like a man's condominium. My clothes were all the same and then the door clicks.

I saw his dangerous eyes, ang mga matang di ko makakalimutan sa sobrang tindi. Ang mga labi niyang nakakaakit.

Why is Jude Martinez standing in front of me and looking at me intensely?

That was the time he captured me by his handsome eyes.
