*Prologue*
The Gods and Goddesses surrounded the large, half moon marble tables. They each sat in a seat perched up on them like a judge persecuting the guilty in a case that caught the attention of the world. Of course in the middle Zeus stood strong and mighty as he listened to Athena speak.
Her twelve foot tall body moved as he spoke, "Zeus it is the only logical thing to prepare for what we know is coming. I know it will work just trust me." The others stood and watched as The Big Three discussed the matter of whether or not to accept Athena's proposal.
"Brother it could work," Poseidon whispered twirling the base of his trident on the marble ground.
"It is the only thing we can do to stop this, you know I would not be in this horrifically cold place if I didn't think so," Hades said agreeing with his brother.
"Fine. I accept your proposal Athena where do we begin?"
Each of them stepped down from their podium like tables and met in the middle allowing their bodies to shrink down to human size. Athena grabbed a small golden bowl and a dagger from Ares and passed it around.
Each of the six gods: Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Athena, Ares, and Artemis pricked their fingers and squeezed it allowing three, equal drops of blood into the gold bowl. Athena mixed the blood in the bowl and recited something in Greek.
As she continued to stir and recite the blood flew up in the air mixing itself as it spun and twirled intermixing each of their bloods. "Now whoever should it choose to possess these powers will save our future, they are our amestec," Athena said as it left the room and headed down to Earth.

"She's beautiful," the mother tiredly spoke. The baby opened her eyes for the first time observing curiously at her surroundings.
"What should we call her?" The tall thin, dad with bags under his eyes asked. He flipped his hands through his dark brown hair as he thought of possible names.
"Alexandra," the mother whispered softly staring at the girl with shining eyes.
"Perfect. Welcome home Alexandra."
