a little girl giggles as she makes her way across the hallway, her blonde locks bouncing with her orange sundress as she rushes past the confused brunette boy.

the building is quite fancy from inside, not what one would think if they saw the outside. there are pictures in frames nailed to walls and joe can spot a lot of good looking people in the pictures from where he is sitting on the sofa.

a sudden noise of the door opening causes the blue-eyed boy to straighten up and look at the approaching man who is smiling at him, his eyes crinkled and cheek full of freckles.

"you must be mister sugg?" his gruff voice asks as he extends his hand towards the latter. joe nods his head before shaking the mysterious man's hand still confused as to why he was called here in the place. "how are you?"

"i'm good." joe's reply is curt, he just wants to get out of there.

"we didn't mean to alarm you by the sudden call but don't worry, you haven't done anything wrong." the man is wearing a very expensive looking charcoal coat despite it not being that cold outside. "mind if we take a walk?"

joe stands up from his position as the older man walks across the hallway leaving him no choice but to follow. the younger boy didn't know where he was, he just remembers a phone call early in the morning and a girl asking him to come to the adress and that it was a one time life opportunity.

now joe is a sensible human being, he knows things like these can be a trap but his curious self couldn't resist it. the lady did sound convincing after all and so far it wasn't going that bad.

"now, this may sound weird but as you could've guessed from all the pictures hanging, we are a modelling agency." joe feels dumb as the sentence slips from the man's mouth, he should've guessed what this was, it was quite obvious.

"oh." the man leads them through a heavy oak door followed by a longer hallway and joe wonders how long they have to walk for. "i-i don't get why i'm here though?"

the man lets out a chuckle.

"we are always on a search for models, to be very honest." he answers. "and one of my colleague just happened to be browsing through websites when he came across a high school one."

joe inhales sharply, was this really about his pictures from a month ago? were they really that good that a modelling agency contacted him?

"and he came across pictures, pictures of you." the man glances at joe over his shoulder, smiling. "you blew everyone away." he opens another glass door which leads to a staircase while joe follows him around like a lost puppy. "we then contacted your principal who sent us directly over to a teacher who's incharge of photography—"

"but somebody else took my photos." joe interrupts.

"i know, the teacher told me that some guy from the media group did. he also said he had more pictures of you that were supposedly submitted via a project?" he laughs, his voice gruff and scratched.

joe hates the girls right now for doing that project.

"i don't understand where this is leading to...?" he asks once they reach a white door from behind which muffles voices can be heard.
