Chapter 1

Your POV

"Goddamn it,I've been trying to wake you up for the pass 15 minutes! You've got school!" Mom shouted as she dragged me out of the bed...literally.

Let me tell you something that both you and me have in common: We both hate school, we both hate waking up early.
I mean, honestly though why do we need to wake up early for school? 10% of our brain are still asleep,letting us unable to function in school.

Have I told you,yet?Oh yeah,I hate school.
But I guess school has its own bright side too. We get to meet friends and probably your hot ass crush.Ah, and yes, your bestfriend too.

Enough of me rambling,let's move on. So after few minutes of sleeping while in an uncomfortable position that my dear lovely mother left me,I slowly  made my way to the bathroom. I really did go slowly...I had my eyes closed along the way.

After a quick shower,I quickly put on my uniform.It was a lovely shade of maroon red and a skirt that went a little above my knees. I rushed down to eat breakfast. I mean...it's food. Who doesn't like food,right? I scanned the kitchen and my eyes landed on the beautiful stack of pancakes. I could almost hear them screaming,"Eat me!Eat me!".
As soon as I got my hands on the precious food I shoved it in my mouth.

"What do you think you're doing? You have 5 minutes left before the portal shuts, do you even have the time to eat breakfast?! What if the portal closes before you reach there and you will have to use your powers to open it again? I will not risk nor tolerate magic powers in public especially since you're an Arcelis!And it's Earth we're talking about,here!" As the woman whom I call mother shouted behind me.
You must be thinking...What portal,right? Well,basically the portal is where it brings us species to the other realm. Of course! Why go through all the trouble and not live there? You know...the other realm.We actually could live there...obviously that goes without saying...because it is where I was born but few things happend and i was brought to earth. I'm not the only "special" one. There are a few of us who were sent here too. Let me get back to where I stopped.

I looked at her with a pancake in my mouth and tell her how school is not a priority but somehow it came out as,"bbhut iys foof...school isnnt imorftant."

She put her hands on her hips and dragged me by ear to the door. Dang, my mom loves dragging me.
She shut the door in front of my face as I awkwardly turned around and made my way to hell.
Don't get her wrong,she's actually the best mother I could ever ask for. It's just that she prioritises school more than I do and she wants what's best for me. Don't all mothers do? Except she's human.

I got into school grounds just on time;just few minutes before the portal closes. Our school looks pretty normal on the outside. We use that school as a cover up so we won't seem too suspicious. Honesly though, who wouldn't get suspicious or traumatised if there were demons,angels,gods or any other species roaming around? We tend to mis-use our powers and sometimes...reveal our true forms-Also reasons why we would rather go through the trouble of going to a portal and get transported there.

The portal was underground and I quickly went through it as a gush of wind pushed me and the sudden familiar atmosphere hits me. I rushed my way to class when I was suddenly greeted with a hug by my bestfriend, my brother, my shoulder,my listening ear and also lowkey my crush,Kim Taehyung. 

"You're not late this time!" He said as he ruffled my hair and jump around like a cute annoying little kid.

"Wow,someone's a little too happy today," I said while the both of us made our way to our first period.

He had his box smile the whole way while skipping and humming numerous tunes indicating how happy  he feels. People would think he was an angel instead of a demon because of how pure he looks. How can a demon be this good looking? Lord, was I heads over heels for this beautiful creation. My face suddenly falls when a voice rang in my head;my conscience,"You're an Arcelis. Taehyung hates those species more than anything. He would flip if he knows his bestfriend is a type that he hates most."

I stopped dead on my tracks. Nothing hurts more than the image of having your bestfriend or someone you love detests you.

"Taehyung-ah...?why do you hate Arcelis? I figured I didn't really ask you the reason why...I was just wondering." I asked softly while looking down.

His eyes turned red and clenched his fists and his aura turned darker. I gave him a frightened expression and see him soften down a little. He glanced at the time and said,"I'll...tell you later,alright? Ms Lee is going to get mad if she sees you late for the fourth time. And you know Ms Lee if she gets mad...especially when she's a Skypiea." I nodded my head and we went in silence.
