Two - Little Girl

Time skip.... 2 weeks.

Normal POV
About 2 days after Lucy arrived, she got to work as a maid. It wasn't as bad as she thought, she meet some of the other maids too!

She also learned that Natsu doesn't call his maids "its" "things" or "toys" Natsu calls them his 'girls'. It may not seem so special but to every female in this world, it means more then you think.

Natsu POV

Right now I am busy with paper work, its late at night, everyone was asleep, including my girls.Then I heard the doorbell 'who could be ringing the doorbell so late at night' I thought as I opened the door. But what I was surprised me.

There was a lady, she had long white hair. She was holding a girl wrapped in an old blanket, the girl looked very pale. But the mother looked worse.

(it's not Mira btw)

"Please..... Take in my child, I can't watch her. I don't have the money for the things she needs anymore!" The lady cried desperately.

All I could do was nod. The lady smiled weakly and gently handed me the child.

"W-what about you?" I said

"I will get a job as a maid somewhere... but I know for a fact that whoever it is won't allow children."

"I can hire you!"

She shook her head and thanked me again before handing me a old, ripped up backpack with the child's information and disappeared into the night. I sighed and speed walked to the Infirmary, I gently laid her down and ran to Lucy's room. Not caring to knock I burst in her room making Lucy jump up in surprise.

"Are you ok Natsu?"

"I'm fine, but I need your help with something. Hurry let's go!" I frantically said.

Lucy nodded and jumped out of her bed, as we were running back to the Infirmary I explained everything to her. I could see the shock in her face but she understood. Once we got there she was exactly how I left her, it didn't take Lucy long to cure her. So now all she needs to do is rest.

"So... who is she exactly?" Lucy asked me

"Hmm, let's see" I said while digging in her backpack. Then I pulled out her birth certificate.

"Her name is Wendy Marvell. She was born on January 9, 2014. So that makes her about two right now." I paused pulling out another paper.

"This paper says that she isn't allergic to anything but can be really shy and clingy....... the rest is about she shoe and clothing sizes."

"She is really adorable though, she looks like the type to be energetic as well." Lucy commented

"She does huh?........ it's getting late, you should go back to bed Lucy."

"Ok, night!" Lucy said before walking out of the infirmary and back to her room.

Nobody's POV
Natsu didn't want to leave Wendy, but he was tired and wanted to go to bed as well. So he gently picked up little Wendy and took her to his room to rest.

--Small time skip= 4:00 in the morning--

Natsu woke up to faint cries. He looked down to see Wendy crying.

"Hey.... don't cry. Your safe with me, I promise."

She looked up and Natsu gave her a warm smile. His arms still wrapped around Wendy protectively. The little girl stuffed her face in Natsu's chest and, soon stopped crying. Natsu smiled and fell back to sleep.
