72 hours later:
Este's POV
"Let go of her!! Go away!!" I scream. I rise my head from my bed and I cry into my pillow. "It's okay Este, she's in hospital, it's fine." I say to myself to calm myself down. Great, now I can't sleep again. I manage to have the courage to get out of bed and go down to the kitchen to grab a hot mug of cocoa. I walk slowly and quietly down the stairs, being careful not to wake Danielle. My parents are out of town for a couple of months but know about Alana being in hospital, great parents. I ponder around the kitchen, trying to make myself useful without making a noise when I see a dim light coming from the living
room. Confused, I walk into the living room to find Danielle watching tv with her white, fluffy, dressing gown on that my parents happened to buy her for her 21st birthday- still fits her.
Danielle's POV
I jump in surprise as I see Este slump on the couch next to me. "What are you doing up?" She asks me. "I would ask the same to you! I couldn't sleep cause...you know" She replied. "You're not the only one" I say as I laugh a bit, hiding the fact that I still think about Alana. "Do you fancy watching a movie for a bit?" I ask Este as her face lit up. "Sure! I'm going for Titanic. Something to, you know, lighten the mood!" She says as I laugh hysterically. "I haven't said this in a while but, it's cool having a sis with a good sense of humour!" "A SASSY sense of humour. I mean, Titanic isn't so bad, right?" "Yeah, right!" I replied back sarcastically. I got up and put the movie on. When the movie started I sat back down and cuddled up by Este. It's nice to know that little sisters can be big sisters from time to time and, Estes company is just right.
Este's POV
Halfway through the movie, Danielle eventually fell asleep with her head against my shoulder and her hand on my arm. I carefully took her hand off my arm and slowly got up to turn the movie off. She instantly got herself comfy lying on the couch, I guess she is too lazy to move! I grab a blanket and tuck her in, kissing her on the forehead. I then found myself staring at the bedroom wall in front of me- I wonder what Alana is dreaming about right now?
