OK back to the story as she turned the beast, surprising didn't attack her it was not howling it was more like a cry she went up to the nightmare and said "what is wrong" .
The nightmare replied "iii hhaave a thorn in mmy ffoot".
"You poor thing" Emily replied sadly.
"You can understand my kin" the nightmare said.
"i know, when i was little my mum gave me a necklace. That gave, me such powerful magics to be able to talk to any magical creatures".Replied Emily.
Emily stood closer to the nightmare and lifted its foot gently and pulled the thorn out quickly..."Ahh" the monster cried...
