Song of Sorrow

I'm on my way to school when I hear the mournful sound of a perfectly tuned violin, playing a melancholy melody. I look up from the ground to the source of the sound, and I'm greeted by the sight of a tall Mexican boy with the most beautiful green eyes I've ever seen, second to only Oliver's, standing a few feet away.

Ver...

Suddenly I'm crying uncontrollably. The boy quickly notices me and sets his violin in the case that's open by his feet, and comes over to where I'm standing, "You okay?"

He speaks with a thick Mexican accent, he sounds like he came from Mexico only just recently.

I look up at him as he asks, "Your violin... It just made me remember a friend..."

I look back down, and hope he doesn't notice the scars, I lost my sweatshirt. Then he asks, "Did your amigo move?"

"Kind of..."

He detects the sorrow in my voice, not just because of the song, "Oh.... I'm sorry," then I caught him looking at my arms. I quickly tucked them behind my back.

"What happened to your arms?" He asks, worried, though I'm a complete stranger.

My voice comes out in a whisper, "Nothing..."

"You're hurting, no?"

"I... I've gotta get to class..." I quickly gently push past him and drop a five dollar bill into his violin case as I walk by.

A/N: Pfft, daily updates my butt. Sorry for the lack of activity lately, I've been really busy with my school's musical and I'm on the swim team. This chapter is kind of eh, but I needed to get a chapter out.
