Slime Rancher...?

Chapter 3- The Predicament.

~(Mark's) POV~

Ugh!Jack has been trying to find a way outta this place for what seems like FOREVER. And I'm a pretty darn patient man if I do say so myself! All I know is that we're stuck in some weird magical land full of.... jelly creatures? I don't even know. But at this point I was bored, and wanting to explore!

"JAACCCKKKK!!!!!" I groaned, "SPARE MEEEEE."

"Spare ya fer what?" he paused his ranting to answer. 

(A/N I'M HORRIBLE AT IMPERSONATING JACK'S ACCENT BUT BEAR  WITH MEEE!)

"FROM YOUR HUGE MOUTH!" I screeched loudly, "I just wanna at least explore for a bit please!"

Jack turned to look at me and glared. I just glared right back.

"Are ya callin' me boring?" he retorted playfully, gasping for effect.

"What if I was?" I grinned.

We stood like that for a few moments before bursting out laughing.

"Uh! Fine...Ya lil' cac..." (A/N Jack just called Mark a little shit in Irish.)

"YES!" I screeched

I chose the first thing I saw....

A cavern. And it was filled with a strange glowing light.

I should definitely  go inside.

With a sudden burst of energy, I sprinted towards it, surprising Jack in the process. When we entered the cave I was immediately hit with a wave of humid and wet air. In front of us were three pathways. I-Being the smarter of the two-chose the one that was glowing. (A/N Mark no-)

"MARK! My legs are hurtin' ya jerk! Slow tha' fuck down!"

Too late. I sprinted once again towards the light almost slipping many times in the process. I entered a 'room' with many.... Firefly Jelly's?

"What the-"

"HEY LOOK! (y/n)! there's another one of you- a... what're they called? hoomain's?"

I heard a giggle and quickly hid around the corner, peeking out a bit.

"No Meowkai, they're HUMANS. H-u-m-a-n-s. But, close enough."

I heard footsteps walk around the cave 'room'.

"Um, Meowkai, I don't see anyone here. I actually haven't seen any others in a while."

The voice paused for a moment.

"Oh! You must be talking about the phospher slimes! Silly, do I look like a phospher slime to you?"

"but really-" the other small voice started, "i swear there was someone else!"

But the voice just chuckled thankfully.

"Meowkai! How many Prickle Pears have you eaten today?"

The 'people' must've started to walk away because they're voices slowly faded into nothingness. But then there was a scream.

I grabbed Jack's hand (Who had JUST caught up with me), and ran towards the noise. We turned a bunch of sharp turns and squeezed through tight spaces. When we caught up, there was a (short/tall) girl with (hair length) (hair color) hair and (eye color) eye's. She had her jaw dropped and her eyes were wide. I followed her line of sight and saw a red, yellow, and orange jelly with a furious expression. The slime was surrounded by firefly-like Jelly's.

This couldn't be good.

Eyyyy! Another chapter! AND IT WAS ON TIME! I'm so proud but extremely tired -_-
