Amari's P.O.V.
9 months
I woke up this morning and my stomach hurt really bad! i called my mom to come to my room. She came in and checked me i was dripping water my mom grabbed my hospital bag and helped me into the car. We got to the hospital and and a nurse hooked me up to a lot of things.
The nurse said i was already dilated 5 the nurse left the room.
7 hours into labor
The pain got worse and worse so the doctor came in and gave an epiderial to ease the pain. Then the doctor checked i jumped up to dilated 9. The doctor said it was time to push. I pushed and pushed. Then Milani Rose Walter came out. They took her to check to see if she shes heathy and theres nothing wrong with her. She stood out to be very heathy. Lucas came and stayed the first night with me. My mom had to work the next morning so she left at like 7 in the morning. The nurse came to heck if i was okay and i was fine then about 10 minutes later she brought Milani in. She was soooo cute I loved her so much! I got to hold her the first time and so did Lucas. My mom came back at like noon to see her she got to hold her. Then the doctor came in and showed me how to change a newborn diaper. It was soo gross! I nursed her and she fell asleep so I put her in little bed thing. I also went to bed since I was sooo sore!
------------3 days later-----------
Today I get to take Milani home but first she had a carseat check. The car seat was all zebra print and it was perfect for Miliani. While Miliani was getting all checked and stuff me and Lucas were getting all the things I got at the hospital together. The docter brought miliani in and said she was all heathy and ready to go. I got in a wheelchair and Miliani in her carseat on my lap. I got in the car and sat in the back with her. Lucas drove me home and then on the way home I remembered that Miliani's room wasnt ready and I dont have as many clothes. I called my mom to tell her that the room wasnt ready.
Conversation on the phone
Amari- Mom. the babys room isnt ready what do I do?
Mom- Oh No! I'm sure we will find something to do with her ok sweetheart?
Amiari- Ok, thanks!
End of conversation
We drove into the drive way and I went up stairs to see what I could do for Miliani. Went I walking up the stairs i was sooooo sore! I walked into her room it was all done! I asked Lucas, " who did all this," " your mom came home and did it all do u like it," "YES IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!!" Her room had purple walls with butterfly stickers on the walls. She had her name above her crib. Her crib was white and had flower purple bedding. It had a cleaning table and a little white dresser and a rocking chair. I took Miliani out of her carseat and craddle her. I racked her a little and she went to sleep I put her in her crib and closed the door. I walked down the stairs and joined Lucas who was watching Duck Dynasty. I ended up falling asleep on his shoulder. Then the crying of Miliani woke me up. Lucas got her out of her room and brought her down stairs. He set her on his lap then t he cutest thing ever happened she did a little smile it was sooo adorable!
I breastfed her while Lucas made me some chicken noodle soup. After we ate it was 6:30. i got some pjs on Miliani which were all zebra print. I rocked her and put her to bed. After I brushed my teeth and also went to bed.
Alyssa's P.O.V.
This morning I woke up in a lot of pain. I sat up and put my feet off the side of the bed. I look down and my pants are wet. I called y mom into my room all she said was get into the car. Then I realised what had happened. My water had broke. My drove to the hospital really fast.
"Mom, I'm not going to have the baby right now!" I exclaimed.
"Yes, I know sweetie, but you never know."
"Whatever."
When we got to the hospital the nurse took me a room. She hooked up to things.
"Your already dilated at 5," The nurse said.
"Ok," In my head I was thinking O my gosh. I don't know what that means. Then the nurse left for awhile.
7 Hours into labor
I couldn't help but make noises to tell everyone I was in pain. The nurse ended up giving me epiderial. I was so thankful. After she did that she checked to if I went up. She said I went up 9 (When I say up I mean dilated). I looked at the doctor. She looked back at me and nodded. I knew that meant it was time to push. I pushed and pushed. Brooklynn Isabelle Anderson was born! I was so happy! She was cute too! I could of held her every minute of the day! My mom smiled I gave Brooklynn to her she smiled down at Brooklynn. I could tell she liked Brooklynn.
"Mom, I totally forgot about buying her clothes and the baby room!" I exclaimed she would have to sleep on a pillow until the room was finished.
"Oh, sweetie, Sorry about that we'll find something for her to sleep on."
----------A couple days later-----------
I got to take Brooklynn home today. I was so happy.
When we got home. My friends and family we're there. In Brooklynn's room!
"Oh my gosh mom, I can believe I didn't notice this!"
"Well you shouldn't of because everyone set it up today. And we didn't paint it because we want to pick the color."
"Awe you guys you didn't have to." I said still holding Brooklynn "Well we just wanted you to have a baby room." One of my cousins said.
"I have nothing left to say. Literally." " Except I wanna go pick out paint!"
"Really now?" One of my Aunts sons said.
"Well you don't have to go."I said.
"Really?" He asked. Little boys are so cute.
"Ya you can stay here."
"Sweet." He nodded. I laughed. I bet Brooklynn will be the same way. I think.
We went to the store to pick out paint. I picked pink and lavender paint for polka dots. When we got home everyone started painting. My mom grabbed a camera and we took a NEW family photo. We looked so cute all together.
