I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I got up, shut it off, and got dressed for work as a bartender. I left my house locking the door behind, and started walking through snowdin. normally, the walk would be pleasant, but reacently a child came out of the Ruins. I never saw them of course since I was at work, but other monsters have. the day I heard about them I was so glad we were going to go to the surfice, I was going to get a better restrunt, and everyone was going to be happy. I was going to see the sun, the stars, everyone's smile knowing that they'll finally be at peace here. but by the looks of it, the human wont be doing that anytime soon. a few days ago, while I was working a monster kid ran in yelling, "HELP! MY MOM'S HURT! PLEASE HELP ME!" I heard this and got worried sick. I ran out the door wanting to do my best to help this kid and his mother but when I got out there, no one nor thing was there exept a pile of dust. the kid's eyes fled in terror and brust out crying. I, myself cried a bit too and kneeled down and hugged him tightly. they cried on my sholder, whispering, "mommy, please..." I rubbed his back wishing this never happened. I wanted to help him, find him somewhere to live with and asked if he had a father or another relative. "my aunt works at the inn" I picked him up carrying them bridel styli taking him to the inn as we walked I told them "if there's anything you need, come to me right away. ok?" "yes sir. thanks for helping me" when we got to the inn, they told their aunt what happened she cried a bit and thanked me for helping them and offered to stay at their inn for free. I told them it was alright and will be happy to help again if they need it. after talking a bit I went back to grillby's, closed it, and went home wishing that child's mother never died, and that the human never came hear. as I got there, unlocked the door, and opened it up sans was already there as if he fell asleep hear. "sans?" he was still asleep, drooling all over his jacket. I picked him up and sat him down on a stool, getting some coffie ready for when he wakes up. I went back in the kitcen and started doing the dishes as I waited, cleaning up a bit now the monsters are in hiding I can get some work done before sans gets up. as I dryed the dishes, I started to hum without noticing. the tune cleared my mind and help me forget about te crying child's mother but was again surprised when I heard sans's voice. "soooooo you like muffet, huh?" for a moment I didn't know what he was talking about till I relized I was humming Spider dance. "o-oh no! hehe! its just a good song that's all! anyway I made you some coffie" I handed him a small cup not wanting him to have too much caffien. "come on grillbs, she's not a bad lady. I mean pap-" he stopped talking as his puples left, leaving his eyes darks as the night sky. he rushed out the door without finishing talking. "SANS WAIT! WHATS WRONG!?!" he left before I could stop him. I got worried. with that human on the looses killing people, I was afrad the they, it, might kill everyone. though sans was gone, I knew where he was going. I rushed out the door, running as fast I could, till I stopped to see sans on the ground, covering hid face with papyrus's scarf, crying. I cried as well knowing how sweet papyrus was and how bad it felt to loose him. I bent down and hugged him, he hugged back still crying, and whispered, "I'm to late..." I rubbed his back comforting him the best I could. somehow, seeing sans like this made me think of the crying child only, I was more sad since sans was my best friend and he doesn't have any other relatives and he loved papyrus so much, he'd even kill himself for him.
