This story may get confusing at times because it doesnt throw the plot right at you. You may have to think a bit harder about the things the story says to really understand the meaning, or not. You may understand it right away but the point is sometimes what is happening in the story is not clear and requires heavier thinking.
The main character, Isaac, has a very vague and unclear backstory. His backstory is meant for the reader to interpret in anyway you want to. Along with the entire story, find out what this story means to you.
