Chapter 1 trust

My name is Cierra Sanders and I am a wolf human. Let me tell you my story about my life. First my parents died when I was six years old. The vampire king kill them for the power of wolves that can control and protect all species. The power was to strong and kill him too.
Before the king died he told his army I had the power and to get me and make his son king. Then he died after that a army of vampires ran after me. I found a abandon house and hide there ever since. You could say I live there for a while too. There was a new king of vampires but I didn't know who.
I went to magic school for a while but left because something bad happen. Now I go to highschool and I am sixteen years old. My magic is unknown to me I don't know what it fully is. It in a necklace heart that I wear. The magic is contain in the gem of the heart in the necklace.
Anyways back to today I got out of bed and went to school. There was vampires at the front of the school. "hey brat come with us or else" Said the purple hair vampire boy. "No" I said. "What did you say?" He asked.
"I said no or are you vampires deaf" I said with a mock tone. "That it" he said then he try to hit me. I grab his hand and punch him in the face. The other vampires grab him and retreated.

After school I went walking in the woods. There I saw a brown lab dog tie to a tree. "Who did this to you?"I said concern. "It was the vampires they did this to me" the dog said. "Wait you can talk but how?" I asked shock. "I was a human before the vampires turn me into a dog" The dog said.
"Oh we I am cierra and you are free now so I should go" I said. "Wait the name Logan can I come with you?" Logan ask. "No" I said looking at him. "Why not?" He ask with sadness. "Because I can't trust you and I work alone" I said. "But me and you both want to stop the vampire also they turn me into a damn dog please let me stay and help" Logan beg.
"Ok fine but I am watching you" I said. Me and Logan went to my house. We walk inside my house and Logan look a little sad. "You live here all by yourself?" Logan asked a little sad. "Yeah I mean it quiet that is good" I said with a fake smile. "Ok where do I sleep?" Logan ask looking around.
"Oh yeah let me show you" I said. I show Logan to his new room and went to take a shower. My necklace glow and I felt magic flow thought me. Memories of my parents flash in front of my eyes. Tears escape my eyes but I quickly wipe them and the magic stop.
Then I change into my night clothes and went to bed. 'I guess I made a friend but can I trust him' I thought before I fell asleep.
