(A/N) Hi guys!
So basically, this is my very first story! I'm super excited to try writing my own fan fiction and I hope you'll like it. My goal is to try and make it as realistic as possible and hopefully refrain from anything too over dramatic, as that will most likely ruin the whole plot of the story ;) Anyways, bear with me and hope that I'm able to make this interesting!!
DISCLAIMER: All characters belong to the wonderful Shannon Messenger and I am simply continuing her story to my best ability (haha get it😝). Anyways, enjoy :)

~EXCERPT FROM LODESTAR'S LAST CHAPTER~
The sobs were coming fast and furious now, but she didn't fight them back.
She was so tired of fighting.
Tired of losing.
"There has to be a clue," Fitz said. We'll take this whole place apart if we have to. Then we'll find them and we'll bring them back and we'll make sure they're happy and safe and that nothing bad ever happens to them again, okay?"
No-it wasn't okay.
It would never be okay.
The Neverseen had her family!
"Does 'Nightfall' mean anything?" a shaky female voice said behind them, eliciting quite a few gasps. "That's what they said. They didn't know I was hiding here-one of them had talked about listening for thoughts, so I let my mind go dark and silent. And I heard them say, "Take them to Nightfall."
"Nightfall?" Keefe repeated as Sophie spun around, following the trail of panicked human thoughts to the voice.
There.
On the wall behind them, a door was open just a crack. Probably a closet or a bathroom.
"It's okay to come out," Fitz promised.
"We're here to help."
Several seconds passed before the door swung open and a young girl stepped slowly out.
She was taller than Sophie remembered. Thinner. Her curly brown hair cut short. But even with all those changes, Sophie would've recognized her little sister anywhere.
Her sister's eyebrows pressed together, like she was straining extra hard to figure out what to say.
When their eyes met, she whispered, "Sophie?"*END OF LODESTAR*
SOPHIE'S P.O.V
"Sophie?"
Amy. She remembers. Any other person would probably be ecstatic to see their little sister after over one year of separation. But all I feel is shock. I just stand there for what seems like an eternity, mouth hanging slightly open and completely oblivious to everything around me, except for the two blue eyes staring straight into mine. Without even realizing it, my legs start to move forward step by step unit I find myself engulfing my sister in a hug.
"I'm so sorry, Amy...for everything," I choke out.
Instead of answering, she just hugs me back and we cling to each other as the floodgates open and show no signs of closing anytime soon. The hot tears leaking down my cheeks make me hate how weak I am. I should be strong, I should be able to hold it together. But they only come out faster as I realize that Amy isn't even supposed to see me, let alone remember me. The Washers will have to come re-erase her memories and I'll just lose her all over again. These thoughts continue to swell in my mind like furious, buzzing bees, stinging my heart over and over again.
Finally, I we finish our crying session and I raise my head to see Keefe and Fitz standing just far enough away as not to interrupt, but still close enough to show their support. Keefe cautiously walks towards me and offers a small smile that I gratefully return. "Hi, Amy. You must be Sophie's sister," Fitz says, walking up next to Keefe. I turn to look at Amy and feel myself smile at the way she's staring. It's quite obvious that she's never seen a male elf before, I muse. But then I snap back to reality and turn to the boys once again. Fitz, could you go get Alden and tell him what happened? I transmit. He nods and runs out of the room. I then face Keefe. "Do you think you could check the rest of the house for any clues of the Neverseen?" "Yeah, of course, I'll be right back." Keefe then proceeds to scrutinize every corner of the house, which I take as my cue to talk to my sister, whose thought have by now become quite overwhelming.
Where are Mom and Dad?
What is Nightfall?
Why is Sophie here with two random boys?
Where was she all this time?
Why did the boy named Fitz run outside?
I sigh. "Come on, Amy," I say, pulling her towards a few chairs surrounding the cluttered dining table, "we have a lot to talk about."
