Harry's POV:
"Can we have a booth for six, please?" I ask. We're at chipotle, Arabelle's favorite restraunt.
"Yes you ma- WAIT YOUR ONE DIRECTION!" The waitress screams, fangirling.
"Yes we are, and we really need a booth for our special girl" I said, gesturing to Arabelle. She blushed and looked away.
"A-alright..." Said the waitress, still dazzled by the fact that One Direction appeared in a normal old chipotle restaurant.
We all sat in our booth and ordered some chips and guacamole, since none of us were too hungry.
"Harry? Can we talk in private?" Arabelle asks, looking intently at me.
"Sure. Well be right back, ok guys?" I reply, and follow Arabelle to the back of the restaurant.
"Ok, this may seem weird but all day long you've been acting like... Well, you've been acting like..."
I cut her off. "Like I like you? I do." I said, and Arabelle looked shocked.
"Wait- you seriously like me?!" She whispered, her eyes huge. I smiled at her, looking at her. Her reaction was so cute!
"O-ok l-lets go back" she said, still shocked.
Arabelle's POV:
Harry just said he liked me. No, this did not just happen.
When we get back to the table, the food is already there. I continue to stare forward, and eat a chip every ten minutes.
"Are you ok?" Liam asks, concerned.
"Yep just not hungry" I reply, still kind of spaced out. I grab another chip just to make Liam stop worrying, and it seems to work. Everyone eats and talks and laughs about our day, and I just keep spacing out. I can't believe Harry likes me- me out of the billions in this world. Out of all of them, he chose me, the girl who has the messed up life and is sick and is often too busy fighting for her life to do things. It all seems too terrible.
But Harry likes me. He likes me for who I am, because I have never been anyone else and he doesn't expect me too, and I love him for that.
We leave and get back into the car, and start driving. One of the things on my bucket list was to just drive, go on a free drive for a while, with no destination. We stop at the Seven Eleven for some sodas, candy and gas and hit the road.
Harry's POV:
We've been driving for two hours and it isn't boring at all. Its so peaceful, driving around with the sun shining on us, our convertible top down, us chatting and just having a good time.
It also feels like a nice escape from everything.
Don't get me wrong, being famous is fun and all but it is so stressful. It isn't easy being on the road and away from friends and family and all, but its worth it in the end.
But Arabelle has it much harder than we ever have. Every single day is a risk, and every single day there is a pretty good chance she will die. She spends huge portions of her life in the hospital or sick or just hating life. She's also a little bit weaker than she is letting on, and I know because some nights I hear her crying in her sleep, and it all makes me so sad. It would be hard knowing that your life is almost over, and you have spent most of it in her condition.
I look over at her now and she looks happy, giggling and talking to the rest of the guys, but I know that inside she is sad and feeling broken. I wish she could just get a break.
We drive a little longer, turning up the music and dancing. The sun starts to set, and I look over at Arabelle, who is sound asleep. I chuckle silently and take off my jacket and put it over her, and she gives me a tiny grin in return.
