The sound of people chatting wakes me, I stretch and hit my fists on the wooden head board "idiot" I mumble and throw myself off the beg, strolling into the bathroom, I release my hair from the messy bun I attempted last night and put on my glasses, finally, doing a breath check, I'm half presentable for whoever is in the penthouse.
I open the door of the bedroom and walk through the long hallway, running my hand on the cream wall before turning the corner to the living room and seeing my mum in the kitchen area with a well dressed man, I can only see the back of my head but I'm guessing its Mr Addlin. "And speaking of teenagers, Tyson this is my daughter Akela, Akela this is Mr Addlin" she releases me from her hug and I meet Mr Addlin's wide grin, I smile and shake his hand "Nice to meet you sir" he shakes his head "The pleasure is mine Akela, and please call me Tyson" he strokes my hand with his thumb and smiles, looking back at my mum "We have a car that would be arriving around 12 to pick you up and take you to your dress fitting" he releases my hand and searches his pockets for something, I turn to mum and mime "what is he talking about" she shrugs and Tyson hands me a note and a credit card, I look up at him in confusion "sign in with my name" he states still looking at my mum "this is now yours" he finally looks at me with a small smile "seriously?" I frown my eyebrows at him and he chuckles to himself "OH MY GOD, thank you!!" I hug him tight and he stiffens, I jump off him and brush him off before scurrying off to my room.

I exit the elevator doors and head towards the black SUV parked in front of the hotel for me, I wave goodbye to the perky desk lady and head out the doors "Miss Akela?" the driver raises his black sun glasses, where is the sun though, "That's me" I smile and hop in the back seat. We're currently stuck in traffic, heading towards Madison Square Garden, typical New York but i take the opportunity to take a few pictures of people calling for a taxi and the bright led lights decorated along each shops doors.
"Miss Akela" the driver speaks, I turn to give him my attention "My daughter... Adrianna works in a coffee shop just around the corner from here" I nod as he continues "she can give you a lift once her shift is over... that's if you want?" I'd die for his strong Brooklyn accent "of course"
I smile and gather my things "thank you so much sir, have a great day!" I open the door and jump over the puddle; I turn back and wave at the kind sir.Turning the corner of the busy street and see the coffee shop opposite me; the man holds the door open for me and him as he exits.
I walk up to the round 50's style booth and ring the bell multiple times, one because it's entertaining and two because- "hello, welcome to Poppy's cafe, what shall I get you?"... it will get the workers attention, the blonde haired gorgeous boy speaks and pulls out his pen and notepad, ruffling his hair he looks up at me and smiles, I bow my head and bite my life hiding my red cheeks, oh gosh Akela
"um..." I rest my chin in my hands and look up at him, he watches me scan across the menu "can I have a regular hot chocolate... Please" I smile and look into his eyes, he laughs to himself and heads back to the kitchen.I have a slight problem either Adrianna is somewhere back in the kitchen or my driver is trying to set me up with his "daughter", I walk over to an empty booth and slid in, opening my voice mail, I have 11 missed calls from Milo and 7 from Kendra, lovely. My best friend's name is Kendra and she's been my best friend since the incident with my father, as for Milo, we had a thing a few months ago but I told him I don't want a relationship, it's just a distraction plus I don't trust boys, I said we can stay friends but nothing more but of course being the idiot he is he is still calling me and texting me like he was my boyfriend.
I hear a deep voice above me and look up to see the blonde watching me "you look stressed" he speaks and I slouch in my seat "I'm just... Plotting" I put my phone face down and take the hot chocolate from him, taking a glimpse at his name card "Jonah" crap "yeah" he looks at me in amusement "oh um.. is there anyone that works here called Adrianna" he smiles and turns away from me "Adrianna you have a visitor" I stand and place my drink down on the table, sliding out of the booth I see a women with a beanie and golden brown hair skip towards me, she engulfs me in a hug and I feel her grinning.
