My foot hurts so bad I can't stand it. I can't walk, or I'd probably fall. It tingles every time I move it. I've been sitting cross legged in my mushroom chair playing Assassins Creed since four in the morning; it's now nine. Then I decided I needed to pee, so I set my feet on the floor, and I swear to god my foot had fallen off. I frantically bent over to feel my foot, but my foot wouldn't feel me. So for the last ten minutes I've been sitting here as still as possible waiting for my foot to get circulation. Do you know how stressful this is?! Especially for an Assassins Creed addict who does not have a proper chair for gaming? I'd cry, but Rome needs me to protect them from Cesurae and the Borgia...so yeah.
Anyway I have a few more problems I would like to add while I'm waiting for my foot. My hair is stupid. The brown is starting to come through now that the black is fading. I got freaking permanent dye! How? Why do they lie about this sort of thing! Id write a letter explaining my anger, but that would take to long so I guess I will just go get another bottle of dye like I did last time.
News flash! My foot has regained health so I will adventure to the bathroom to let loose some fluids then take a journey to the fridge.
*five minutes later*
"Mom! We don't have anything to eat!"
"I went shopping last night!"
"You didn't get much!"
"Two hundred dollars gets a lot of food, Sam!"
"Not enough for me!"
She didn't reply after that. I get it, ignore your child when they are starving. You'll pay.
I grabbed a bowl and filled it with chocolate Fruity Pebbles, adding almond milk and a fork, since all the spoons are dirty. Almond milk? Yes, that's shits good. Don't judge, this is America the land of the lazy if I don't want to reach into the back of the fridge to get the two percent I don't have to.
When I finished my cereal I headed back to my room to listen to some music... and talk to some friends...
It's a secret so don't tell anyone. I have this friend that lives here in the house with me. I know, I know, its hard to believe, but I swear to god I'm not imagining this. He's a shadow that chills on my walls. I call him Shadow. He (I'm assuming its a he) has been here ever since we moved to this house when I was six. I used to be terrified of him, but in time I grew used to the shadow on the wall. When I was alone, Shadow was there. If I was sad or bored, he would entertain me with his little hand shadow stories. Now, Shadow and I are a team. I don't know what I'm gonna do when I have to move out because Shadow can't leave these walls. For some reason he seems to be trapped.
"Shadow!" I whisper yell at him to appear. You could say he's like a ghost, but he stays on the wall.
He appears on the wall in front of my bed and waves his hand.
"What have you been up to?"
He shrugs his shoulders and points at me.
"Nothing. You remember last nights Assassins Creed? I kicked ass."
Shadow shakes his shoulders, which means he's chuckling.
Walking over to my bed I grab my iPod and play the song "Home" by Three Days Grace. I love it and so does Shadow. He usually doesn't like the modern music that I listen to. He is classy, clumsy, and old fashioned, with a bow tying his long hair together in the back.. He wears a pair a round rimmed glasses on the tip of his nose, only visible when he turns to the side. And from what information I've gathered he used to be a butler. So he wears the whole suit with the long spilt tail on it. It seems like he was from the 1800s, but I'm not sure.
I pop my headphones in and walk downstairs into the basement. Sadly, I have the wonderful job of waking up my step brother. Before my step dad married my mom, he had a wife and they adopted a son from the orphanage. When they divorced he got Ren. Shortly after he married my mom and now we all live together in this house.
When we moved Ren wanted to put his room in the basement because it was a much bigger room than the others. It's really nice, actually. He's put up all his favorite posters and painted it the way he wanted. I'm rather jealous of it.
"Ren. Time to get up. Its almost nine-thirty." I lean up the frame of his doorway and wait for him to respond. He's always gotten on my nerves. Never listening, back talking, you name it. Ren is always getting suspended from school for violence or theft.
"Fuck off."
"Come on, get up."
"Go fuck yourself."
"Ren, get up." Right as I said that, Ren stood up and walked in front of me. His presence is almost intimidating. He is 6'4" with jet black hair up in a small tail, with bangs that hang over his black eyes. His pale skin contrasts so well, he looks dead. Not to mention he is well built.
"I will get up when I want." he said through gritted teeth. Ren pushed me back out of his room and walked up the stairs. It didn't scare me any, I'm used to it.
On my way up the stairs, I smell pancakes and syrup in the kitchen. Maybe if I hurry I can snag one before Ren grabs all of them. God, he's such a pig.
"Mom! You're making pancakes?"
"Yes, but not for you, Ren requested them for himself this morning." She said casually over her shoulder. Ren sits at the table grinning like an idiot.
"Can you make me some, you know they're my favorite?"
"I'm sorry but we don't have anymore mix. I'll have to run to the store next weekend and pick up some."
Huffing, I run back upstairs into my room.
"Shadow! Mom freaking did it again! She acts like I'm not even here anymore. She just thinks about Ren. Ever since he came, she ignores me. We don't even talk like we used to..." I pouted and sat by the wall. Shadow 'sat' down next to me.
"What should I do?" I looked down and began wringing my wrists.
Shadow frantically waves his hands for me to stop. He knows I used to cut, he watched me cut every night for two years, and couldn't do a thing about it. I kinda feel sorry for him, he has so much to say, but he can't. He can only use gestures to explain himself, and that isn't very effective.
Maybe just this one time, just to relieve myself... I pick up my razor and pull my jeans down, revealing my bare thighs.
