A new mother and father had just welcomed a new member into the world. "Jackson, Jackson Luke Wiley." said the mother, mesmerized by the beauty of her child. Jackson hadn't yet opened his eyes yet, but when he did, it put everyone in a state of shock. the father with a concerned look on his face spoke out to the mother, "honey, what's wrong with his eyes?" Jackson did in fact have an unusual pair of eyes. The left eye was a beautiful, illuminating green, while the right one's iris was completely black. The nurses decided that they would run a few tests on the child to find out what went wrong. a long time of waiting and patience beginning to fade, the doctor came back with results. " We ran all blood tests we could for him being as young as he is, but they all came back negative. His vitals were perfect, and so was blood. The only conclusion we could possibly pull from this is there could have been a genetic mutation in his DNA, causing his eye to, blackout. But other than that, we have never seen this before, and don't know what's wrong, I'm sorry." The mother looked at the nurse, and gave her a simple nod in agreement, "Thank you, I'm sure he will be fine." As she held Jackson in her arms, she looked him in his eyes, giving a look of love and compassion, she didn't care that he was different, it only made her love him more. "There's nothing on this planet that could stop me from loving my little Jackz." Jackson seemed to give out a little giggle, as if he knew what she was talking about. The father sat back, and gave a nervous grin, not quite sure how to feel. Years, had passed since, Jackson was now 17 years old, and had a 15 year old brother named Sammy. His father had taken the life style of an alcoholic, passing out nearly everyday due to the migraines. Unfortunately, Jackson's mother was no longer with them, for she had commit suicide 10 years ago. It was an average Monday morning, except Jackson's father wasn't drunk. "Eat up Jackz! I don't want to have another phone call from the office saying you fell asleep in class. You need the energy!" Jackson looked up at his oddly cheerful father and let out a small grunt. "I'm not that hungry today." His father didn't put to much effort into arguing, so he let him go. Sammy had already left to school, so Jackson decided to head out as well. As he walked down the cracked sidewalk, the beautiful fall scenery seemed to suck him in. His Black hair Blowing gently in the breeze, covering his face. His attention was altered, however, to two small children tossing around leaves in their front yard. " Hey Billy, Do you wanna play a game?" Jackson stopped in his tracks for a moment, looking like a deer in headlights, that phrase rung in his head. he thought back to when he was just a kid.....

"Jackz! Come down here!" His mother sat on the floor with two piles of cards laying next to her. Jackson immediately ran down the stairs to his mother. "What is it mommy?" "Do you wanna play a game?" Jackson's face lit up with joy as he quickly sat down next to his mom and they commenced to play the game.....

He snapped backwards. "She would ask me that everyday," he thought to himself. He kicked the leaves up in front of him and continued to walk. The freshly fallen leaves were all he saw because he usually hung his head low. He never wanted anyone to see his face, he was too ashamed of his eye and his scar, under his blackout eye. As he approached the nightmarish building, he dragged his feet behind him, hesitant to enter. No one there liked him, just because he was different, but a particular group of kids loved to pick on him the most. "Screw this school," he said under his breath. Jackson quickly grabbed the things he needed for English, and scurried along. The bell rang just as he entered the classroom, he hated English, he hated the teacher. "Alright class! Listen up, for those of you who don't know me yet, I'm Mrs. Greamly. I will be coming around the classroom to check your warm - ups in about 5 minutes. "The first day of the last year, what a disappointment," Jackson whispered to himself in a low tone. He looked down at the small white paper resting on the desk before him. A question scribbled in black ink read, "What is one thing I should know about you?" Jackson thought hard about the question before he was abruptly interrupted by a piece of crumbled up paper colliding with his face. He rose his head to see who threw the paper, and it was none other than Ethan and Trent. Mrs. Greamly walked over at the two boys, who were now mocking Jackson by twitching their head side to side. She slammed her hand on the boys desk and in a shouting manor said, "Stop playing games! I will not have such inappropriate behavior in my class! You are to finis-" Jackson's thoughts interrupted him ounce more, but to now his mothers death.....
