"queen of what exactly?" King charming said curiously but he knew exactly who I was he used to work as a reporter for ever after high as a second job, let's just say my name came up more than once
"Well I'm the daughter of... Uh my mum is... I'm..." I broke into a nervous laugh but no one else was laughing
"Moving on" the queen said cheerfully trying her hardest to change the subject
"Please, be seated" she said with a soft smile spread across her face
We all sat down but none of us dared to talk, king charming was glaring at me like he was going to kill me, I tried avoiding eye contact but the moments we did make eye contact I just smiled uncomfortably
"Two girls in love? Huh?" He said breaking the glare he was giving me and lending it to apple and darling
"I want to be as royal as possible you see, darling is my princess charming.. knight in shining armour. She is my destiny and every good royal must follow their destiny" apple said batting her eyes innocently, she always had a way with words.
King charming was hardly on her side though.
"You can't marry. You can't date. You can't even be seen together. You are both vile creatures for loving someone the same sex as you. No daughter of mine is marrying another daughter, and I don't care if you are the daughter of snow white or for that matter anyone. You make me sick and if you think you can prance in as two queens and rule over people in perfect harmony you have another thing coming" he said banging his fists in rage on the table every minute or two
"honey-" the queen tried to slip in but was interrupted
"What do you mean father? Surely times have changed, me and apple aren't the only ones, cant you see if we never break this horrid rule of no homosexuals it will break us!" Darling said imitating her father by prodding her finger on the table with the other hand scrunched up
Even though it was wrong no one has ever seen two gay kings or queens before in the fairytale kingdom we were still on the same page of no homosexuality even if it was wrong, that's why I respect darling for breaking out of these evil rules but her father was still on that page of rules and would not turn to the next chapter
