"I had him that time! He cheated!" Stormfly growled for the tenth time over dinner.
"Uh huh" said Skyfall, slowly chewing is pork.
" I bet I could get him next time" Stormfly muttered.
"Uh huh" said Skyfall again.
" And he ALWAYS cheats!" Stormfly practically yelled, causing about twenty dragons to stare at her.
" You said that" muttered Kira.
"AND he's so arrogant. And vain. And annoying. And he..."
"ALRIGHT! You hate him! We know." Skyfall yelled.
"I suspect the whole world knows at this rate" Kira muttered into her steak. Stormily growled. She Did hate Kalastar. ESPECIALLY his toothy grin. She dreamed of wiping the toothy grin right off his stupid face when she defeats him. Which will happen. Some day. She was sure of it. "Hello? You alive?" Kira inquired whilst tapping Stormfly on the head.
"What?" Grumbled Stormfly angrily at Kira.
" Shomewome gwot uph on the wong shide owf the bed!" Skyfall muffled between mouthfuls of fish.
Stormfly glared at him then whacked him on the head.
"Oww!" He groaned. Stormfly looked at him again. "What? I'mp eathing!" Skyfall Retorted, trying to swallow.
" I said that our essay on Rithieal fighting strategies is due tomorrow. THEN we have to put them into practice! Against each other!" Kira cut in. Stormfly groaned. That meant fighting agains Kalastar again, meaning complete and utter humiliation in front of the whole fighting group. She didn't even know why they had to practice. It's not like anythings going to happen. The war is miles away! On the other side of Dracuras! It would take anyone three years to get here, IF they don't get injured on the way in which it would take longer. Then they would have to FIND Erruoha which is about as hard as stopping the war. Yet they still had to study, day after day, and fight half their life, when there is a one in a million chance that ANYTHING disastrous WHATSOEVER is ever going to happen. What really shocked Stormfly was the amount of Dragonets here. There had to be at least seven hundred Dragonets all roaming around Erruoha, ALL apparently been abandoned. But Stormfly had her suspicions. Today Flashwing and Rithal bought in five newborn Dragonets, none runts, each within a mile of Erruoha. Things like that weren't by chance. Stormfly's thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a cry from Lithal, who had been on guard duty. Every Eye in the hall turned to her suddenly.
" Th-the s-sky is is....." She stuttered.
She gulped and opened her mouth again then closed it.
" What is it?!" Someone yelled from the corner. "What is the sky?!!!"
" The sky!" Lithal yelled. "It's, it's, changed!
Suddenly every dragon in the hall darted for the exit, leading out to the boarders of Erruoha. Stormfly glanced at Skyfall, who shrugged. Her friends were just as clueless as she was. They finally managed to push their way out of the hall, and they glanced at the sky. It was dark and stormy, but without a cloud in sight. It was tinged with a deep blood red colour, as if a hole had been teared right down the middle. Suddenly Stormfly heard a gasp from beside her, and turned just in time to see Kira's tail disappear through the crowd.
"Kira!" Stormfly yelled. No answer.
"KIRA!" She yelled again. Nothing. She nudged Skyfall and headed in the detection of the hall, then gazed around. Kira was the fasted dragon she new. She would have to go with instinct.
"Wait!"
Stormfly spun around to see a puffing Skyfall stumble in front of her.
" We have to go to the library!" Stormfly told him. She was sure that if anywhere Kira would go it would be library. She turned around and rushed away.
" Wait up!" Skyfall cried. But Stormfly was already gone. Sighing he trudged after her. Why was everyone so fast?
Stormfly rushed into the library. She crashed round the corner, knocking half the scrolls onto the floor.
"Kira!" Stormfly yelled. She raced past many shelves, attempting to navigate around all the scrolls without knocking to many down.
"Kira!" Stormfly yelled again. Why did this library have to be so big? Sighing, she ran round the corner and...... crashed right into something. It was Skyfall. They both fell backwards causing another twenty scrolls to fall on them.
" Have you found Kira?" Stormfly winced, as she painfully got to her feet, rubbing her shoulder.
" No" Skyfall replied. "But I found you!"
Stormfly growled. The library was HUGE. Where on Dracuras would Kira be? She turned around and headed for the exit. Kira would come to them later. They needn't worry.
"Wait!" Skyfall cried and pointed in the opposite direction. Stormfly turned around. Where Skyfall was pointing had all these scrolls knocked down, as if someone was in a hurry.
" This way" Stormfly ordered as she went towards the direction that Skyfall was pointing. She followed the path of broken shelves and fallen scrolls, until suddenly it stopped. Confused, Stormfly slowly turned the corner. Kira!
" Oh thank moons Kira, seriously, You shouldn't run of like th...." Started Stormfly, but she stopped abruptly. Something wasn't quite right. Kira stood a foot away from a scroll that lay open on the table, with a look of pure and utter terror.
"Kira?" Stormfly whispered. A sudden loud bang made Stormfly turn around to see Skyfall crash round the corner.
"Oops" He muttered and picked up ten scrolls and tried to put them back on the shelf. He turned to get more then knocked the ones he just put up,down again with his tail.
" Oh, you found ki... Kira?" He noticed Kira Staring at the scroll. "Um, are you ok?" Sky fall asked. No answer. Stormfly slowly stepped forward and peered at the scroll that Kira had been reading. She gasped. Three moons of ginlath Dracuras. NO WAY.
