"No the water is probably freezing cold!" I said to Alyssa.
During lunch at school we saw each other and tarted chatting.
She then forced me to come with her so she can show me, and I quote-"the real Californian life".
We were currently sitting on a stone wall that was facing the sea. She was also pestering me about us going for a swim.
We all know the reason she wanted to go for a swim was because there were cute surfer guys.
She even admitted it.
"Fine! But when it starts getting warmer we have to get into the water" she said pulling her jacket tighter around her.
Even though this was California, it was November. The water is cold and the wind makes it even worst.
"Sure, what ever you want" I said rolling my eyes.
"There plenty of fish in the sea for us to eat, if you know what I mean" she said raising her eyebrows at a bunch of guys who had walked passed us.
"Unless they're eaten by sharks. But then that makes us sharks. So it's if the We are sharks that makes whales our enemy who want to eat the fish....oh god my brain hurts" she said with a confused face whilst rubbing her temples.
I stared laughing.
"just let it go Alyssa, let it go" I said shaking my head at her with a smile on my face.
Suddenly I felt someone sit next to me.
I looked to my side and met a pair of grey eyes.
He had a nice face and seemed my age but it looked like her wore fake tan and he seemed kind of creepy.
"Hey" he said.
"Um..hi?" I said but it came out as a question.
Don't blame me.
I don't know who this random guy is. He just randomly came up to me as if he knew me.
These are the moments I wished it was alright to carry guns to threaten anyone who comes near you.
"Oh sorry I haven't introduced my self. I'm Ethan. I saw you around at school but never got to speak to you"
I turned to Alyssa next to me and gave her a look. She just smiled as if to tell me to keep talking.
"Oh..  um hi chad" I said feeling better that it wasn't some random person but so one from school.
"You have beautiful eyes you know" he said in a husky voice.
"Really? Oh,thanks" I said fake smiling.
I wasn't even that happy but it seemed kind and respectable to just do that.
He suddenly leaned in toward my ear and whispered.
"The perfect shade of green"
I moved away from him.
"Sorry chad... was it?...me and Alyssa need to go. Don't we Alyssa?-" I turned to her and gave her a look that told her she had to say yes or she won't see the living day lights tomorrow.
"Um.. yeah we're extremely busy, like super super busy. And by busy I mean extremely busy-" she rambled on until I cut her off.
"Yeah he gets it Alyssa, anyways we're gonna go, bye" I said and pulled Alyssa and me away.
"What are you doing?" Aussie asked once we were more further away next to some cafes and shops.
"He creeps me out" I said scrunching my face in disgust as I tuned around and found him staring right at me.
"What do you mean? Do you know that any girl would kill to be in that position you were in? He was practically was eye raping you... actually now that I've said it, he is creepy. But still. He popular at school and that good enough" she said now out of breath.
"Look. I may want to be popular, but I don't want to be a slut and if I don't like the guy I won't go to him. What do girls like in him anyways? He looks like a replica of the annoying orange" I said.
She started laughing so hard she had to stop in the middle of the street laughing her head of whilst people passed and gave her weird looks.
"Nice one!" She said giving me a high five once she'd calmed down a little.

"So did you enjoy your day?' Tom asked as he stood at my bedroom door.
"Yeah, it was alright" I said with a shrug.
I had arrived home 30 minutes ago and found out that Katie was out with some old high school friends and tom was at home.
He's been pestering me for about twenty minutes trying to make conversation when all I wanted to do was to be in my bed and and finish another episode of black mirror.
Yes, I was only watching black mirror because Shawn Mendes had tweeted about it.
Don't judge me.
Plus its actually good.
"That's good" he said whilst scratching his neck from behind.
I nodded awkwardly.
I love Tom. He's like a brother I've never had and he truly cares for me like a brother would.
But I know when he wants to tell me something or when he's nervous and I can tell he is both of them right now.
"Look Chloe I wanted your opinion on something... it's just I've been thinking about this for months but I was never sure ...we'll I am sure but I was kind of nervous an-"
"Spit it out Tom! Don't be scared we always share things, we're basically family" I urged him to tell me what he wanted to ask.
"I..I-I was thinking of proposing to Katie but I need your help" he said looking nervous.
Gobsmacked, i just stared at him in silence for about 5 second before thinking properly about what he had just said.

"Eeeeeeeekkkkkk!" I screamed and jumped of my bed to give tom a blood circulation stopping hug.
I always knew Tom and Katie would someday get married.
They were perfect for each other. I always saw the way he stared at her In a way that could only be described as true love. She truly loved him as well considering the conversations we used to share on the phone before, where she gushed over him.

"Oh my god! I'm so happy for you!" I said not letting the smile wipe of my face.
"Thanks. But I still don't have a ring so I wanted to ask for you to tell me what kind of a ring I should get"
"Okay. Tomorrow after school tell Katie your going to meet some friends or something and me and my friend Alyssa will help you choose. My friend has an obsession with fashion and knows what's trending right now" I said assuring him.
"Thanks Chloe, you don't know how much this means to me" he said giving me one last hug before going downstairs to watch some tv.

After having a warm shower I changed into my soft pyjamas and decided to go with out any dinner.
Right now my mind could only concentrate on me in my warm cosy bed.
After getting comfortable in my bed, I started at the ceiling.
I never understand why people don't paint the ceilings but they paint the the walls.
Maybe they thought the Paint might chip off or peel off and fall in your mouth whilst you were asleep.
Oh god, I am such a weirdo.
Am I the only one who thinks of weird things whilst I'm trying to sleep?
No matter how hard I tried I couldn't fall asleep.
School today wasn't so bad.
Although in science I was surprised to find out that people bullied the blind guy.
What was his name again?
Adam I think it was.
Although I thought it was wrong to bully a guy for being blind I knew that I had to be part of bullying him.
It was a way of letting out the anger and sadness I had in me, and it would make me more popular.
I know I may sound desperate to be popular buts because I'm tired of living in the shadow.
That's why when my mum died and I moved here, I took it as a wake up call.
Starting from tomorrow morning I would start bullying him.
He seems to be the target of most people so I knew no one would be against me.
Even though there was a part of me that knew what i was going to do was wrong.

Shockingly, I made it to school on time.
Walking to my locker to het some books, I saw Jess, Carmen and Louise talking near my locker.
Yesterday I had gotten closer to them and found out they weren't that bad.
Apart from the fact that they were rude bullies (mostly Jess) but they were quite nice once you got to know them.
"Hey Chloe!" Carmen said giving me a sweet hug.
Carmen had to be my favourite out of the trio. I mean who wouldn't love her? She's so sweet, innocent and naive.
After saying hi to the girls, we just chatted away whilst waiting for the bell to ring.
I had found out that they liked to make an entrance so they always came to class a little late.
Suddenly, I was pushed forward by a stick from behind.
It came as a shock so I found myself on the floor.
Getting up from the floor, I turned around to see who had pushed me.
Adam. My eyes rested on his dark glasses.
"Oh god, I'm so sorry whoever this is" his deep voice apologised.
Jess beside, who was standing beside me started insulting him.
"You little wimp! You think you can go around bumping into people with no consequences! Show him what we can do Chloe" she said looking at me waiting to see what I would do.
The crowd around me and Adam started getting bigger and bigger.
