Disappearing In Twos

Chapter 8

        (Rose's POV)

      They woke up terrified, untrusting, not that I cared much. I just want to use them as pawns to keep him from touching Sara. I want to protect her... I have to protect her.

      After about five minutes of useless screaming and panicking, they finally started to ask us about this place. 

    "Where are we!" Demanded the first girl. The first girl had dark black hair and a rough look about her. She had short wavy hair and sapphire blue eyes. Her skin was slightly tanner than her sister's snow white skin. She stood about five and a half feet tall and looked about 130 pounds. "What the hell is going on!?"

      "Sis... Please calm down a little..." Whispered here frantic, shy twin. "Sis, the-"

      "How the hell can I calm down! Don't you understand just how bad our situation is!? Gawd! It's like you're stupid or something!" The first girl harshly cut her sister off. "Answers! Now!" She directs her shout towards us now.

      I go over to the shy twin and pull her over towards Sara, ignoring the bitch twin, and begin to explain the situation. "We've been kidnapped by a man named Caden. Or... That's who he says he is. He is really, terribly violent and- quite frankly- insane. He's done... some... terrible things to me and my sister... But! I promise that I shall keep you and my sister safe."

      "Hey! What about me!? Don't tell me you forgot about me already!!!" The first twin yelled.

      I continued to ignore her and began introductions. "My name is Rose and this is my twin sister Sara."

      "Hey! I'm talking to you guys!" The first twin yells extremely annoyed.

      "Hello," Sara greets her with a smile also ignoring the first twin's existence.

      "DON'T JUST GO PRETENDING THAT I'M NOT HERE!!!" The forgotten twin yells out in pure anger.

      "My name is Titania. It's very nice to meet the both of you." Titania quietly introduced herself.

      "Even you forgot about me T..." The first twin sobs out.

      "Oh! I almost forgot. This is my sister, Io" Titania finally puts a stop to ignoring her twin.

      Io runs to her twin and hugs her, sobbing into Titania's shoulder, "T!!! I th-thought you forgot m-meeeee!!!!! T!!!!"

      Titania hugs her sister back and calms her down.

      After a few minutes of explaining how things work in this hell hole, I look at the clock and my face pales. Sara's eyes follow mine and she and I rush to the closet. We picked out three skimpy, gaudy dresses and I found myself one of the innocent looking dresses.

      "Put these on and don't ask questions! Hurry!" I rush the two.

      They eye the dresses and then eye me too. Io spoke up, "Are you sure there aren't any less revealing dresses? I really don't feel like putting on a show for this creep!"

      "I-i-i-i... I c-can't wear s-something like th-this!" Titania looked as red as a tomato.

      "Look I'll explain later. But if you want to be safe, then you'll just have to trust me... And go to Sara to get your makeup done." I say trying to get everyone dressed quickly. We only have 9 minutes until Caden comes to get us for dinner.

      We just barely finished our hair when a knock sounded on the door. Without waiting for a reply, Caden opened the door and looked at us all. Seeing his smirk told us that he obviously liked what he saw, but when he looked at me I swore I saw him blush. I was wearing a yellow sundress and some white flats (Image above). He cleared his throat and said, "Follow me, my lovelies."

      Dinner consisted of introductions per usual I guess. It was after dinner was over that scared me the most because he had a punishment waiting for me as he led me to his room. Hopefully Sara can keep the girls calm tonight. Titania is so much like Sara and I feel the strongest need to protect the three girls.

      I just need to survive these nights.
