"Snow Angels" (Short story)

Louis and Harry raced out into Louis' garden. They'd been waiting all morning to run into the snow and finally Louis' mum had agreed. They wrapped up in scarves, hate and thick winter coats. They skipped into the snow. Harry immediately bent down, focusing on moulding the perfect snowball.

Harry and Louis always spent Christmas together, as they lived next door to each other, they'd sleep around one of their houses. Harry hated to admit it, but he did really like Louis, maybe a bit more than just a friend.

Harry threw the snowball across the garden that hit Louis perfectly on target. Louis quickly turned around, glaring at Harry, who was holding his stomach as he laughed. He took in a sharp breath as he felt a snowball hit into him, the snow showering over his coat. Louis grinned cheekily back at Harry as he chased him through the thick snow.

Louis lunged forward and tackled Harry to the ground. Louis was now lying on top of Harry, both boys giggling. Their warm breath hitting the cold air and mingling together.

They both stopped laughing, but continued to gaze into each other's eyes. "Oops..sorry!" Louis said, as he rolled off of Harry. They lay together in the snow, while Harry started to move his arms and legs, making a snow angel.

Louis laughed at him. "You're ridiculous!" he laughed, but, he joined in. Harry felt brave as he got onto his knees and crawled to Louis' side. "Haz?" Louis asked, looking up at the boy who was leaning over him. Harry watched as Louis seemed puzzled, his rosy cheecks and bright eyes making him look adorable. Harry closed the gap between them, their lips locking.

To Harry's surprise Louis kissed back, his hands tangling in Harry's curls as Harry whispered against Louis' lips: "Happy Christmas!" Louis smiles into the kiss, only pulling Harry closer. "Best. Christmas. Ever." Louis muttered as they intertwined their fingers.
