Cody's POV
It's my first day in high school, I remember all those long summer hours spent working with the band. Now they're going to pay off. I walked in the band room to see all the amazing friends I made over the summer.
"Cody!" My new best friend Ricky shouted from across the band room.
Ricky was the first person I made friends with in the saxophone section, and he's still the closest one. I have a special connection with him, but sadly, he's interested in girls.
"Hey Ricky!" I say excitedly to see him, and then another male voice shouts my name. I turn around to see who it is.
It's Levi, another good but not as close friend in the saxophone section.
Levi blushed as I walked towards him,
"Hey Levi," I said waiting for Ricky to call me over but he never did.
Levi's POV
I knew Cody wasn't paying attention to me, the only person he likes is Ricky, he doesn't realize that I may be an upperclassmen, but I still like him a lot. Sometimes I wish he would get a clue.
"Do you know what lunch you're going to have Cody?" I asked.
"Yeah, first," he answered.
"Me too, maybe we can sit together!" I may have gotten a little too excited.
"Yeah, definitely, but I'll have to check in with Ricky to see what lunch he has," he said.
"Ok!" I smiled widely.
Ricky this, Ricky that, Ricky's in the eleventh grade, I'm a senior, why does he get all of Cody's attention? Maybe I can do something to change that...
