Light vs. Dark

Rapunzel's POV:

"A reception area is good."

"Of course it is good! Let's put that on the list."

Jack and I were planning for our wedding. Everything is getting a little bit tense, and thrilling too. "But where would it be?" I asked him. "Somewhere? Oh! I know." "Where?" I asked him again, but he just smiled. "I can't tell you that. It'll be a surprise!" I glared at him, but stopped. I realized that, waiting is a good option. "Okay. But how would the guests know?" Jack smiled again. What's up with smiling?! "There are only 7 guests! Manny, Bunny, North, Sandman, Tooth, your parents!" I distracted him. "M.G.N is invited? No way." M.G.N stepped in. "Excuse me, I helped Jack discover his past! You owe me." She knows what I call her? "Who is M.G.N? Is it Tooth?" Jack asked me. "Well, somehow yeah. I called her that cause I'm tired of her laring at me whenever I'm with you!" I told him. "No need to be jealous, she's just a friend!" Ouch. Friendzoned~!

"Whatever Jack. Whatever! Everyone here knows you'd be a slave for eternity. So, why bother?"

"Shut up Tooth. You don't know."

M.G.N made Jack annoyed. It made me angry. "Hey Miss Grumpy Nose! You don't have to make Jack feel like if he has family, he'll be the only one living for eternity! That's out of hand!" I exclaimed. "Never is that out of hand. It's the truth!" She said with a smirk, then went out of the room. "Tooth is really bonkers these days!" Mr. North said. "It's okay. It's true though. I don't have to deny it." Jack told me. "Oh that's right. Invite that kid!" "Kid? Who?" I crossed my arms. "His name is Julius! He said he gave you a wooden crutch?" I told him. "Is Julius his name? Good thing he wasn't accused of stealing." I widened my eyes. "You stole for him? You really did that?" I said with a soft voice. "He was like the only friend I have. Of course I did that for him." My eyes went soft. I hugged Jack. "You really do care." "Of course! That's something to be proud of." He said and hugged me back.

"How about frozen flowers?"

"Frozen flowers?"

I never saw frozen flowers before. "I've seen a frosted flower, not a frozen flower." I said. "Don't you know I can sculpt?" I shook my head. "No..." I muttered. He let go of me and frozed the ground with his staff. "I can make an ice skating rink in just two seconds." He said pointing to the ground. He raised his left hand and an ice rose came out sprouting above his hand. It floated and Jack held it. He gave it to me. "I can do that too. Frozen flowers. A combination of you and me. You like flowers, I like ice, because that's me, I make ice. And if we're combined it's frozen flowers!" He said I looked at the beautiful frozen rose. "This is...on the wedding list!" Jack smiled and raised me in the air. "I'll make tons of it!" My smile fades away as I remember something. "Oh my gosh. Where are we going to be married?" Jack looked around the place. "Here I guess. North can be the priest!" We looked at Mr. North. "Please?" His eyebrows were suddenly raised. "O-okay Jack. Just be sure, this will be a great wedding!" We nodded.

"North, there's been a problem. It would be best if you'd see it with your own eyes."

"Okay, I'm going up there."

M.G.N called from above. "What's happening there, I wonder?" Jack asked Bunny. "I don't know either. Maybe it's an emergency?" He said. Jack flew where North and M.G.N is. "North! What's this?!" I'm curious what's there upstairs. "What's going on there?" I asked Bunny. "Hold on sweetheart, we're right at it." Sweetheart? What? "Can I check it out?" Bunny blocked me as he jumped upstairs. "Sandy?!" He called and the Sandman carried his way upstairs. "Hey! Am I supposed to be left alone?" I exclaimed. M.G.N came down to me and grabbed my hand. She carried me upstairs.

"This is what happened."

I saw North's office. It looked like a disaster! It's like a tornado just came whooshing in! "What happened here?!" Jack looked around. "Obviously it's Pitch." Once he said that, evil laugh I've never even heard of came into the room. "Oh bravo, bravo Jack Frost." We looked down below. Who's that Black Weirdo?! "Pitch, you bastard!" North shouted. "Oh, I know, thank you. Isn't it amazing? How I've managed all this?" Jack laughed. "You just blew up one room! That's not enough to even dramatically make us surrender! We'll fight untilthe end." Jack went below. "Jack!" I screamed his name but then M.G.N covered my mouth and hid me below.

"Whose voice was that? Is that from sweet little Punzie?"

"No, Rapunzel is not here!"

I looked at M.G.N as she removed her hand from my mouth. "What does that guy want from me?!" I whispered. "We don't know but I guess someone from your world sent him here. He's not really that active." M.G.N said. I thought for awhile. "Mother..." I mumbled. I grabbed North's hand and whispered something to him. "How can we defeat Pitch?" North widened his eyes. "You think you can defeat him?" He asked me. "I don't know. But, I think I can. I just have to have the right ingredients!" I told him. "He needs light..." I gasped. "I just have the right ingredients to cook this dish!" I said then showed up to Pitch. "Jack!" Jack and Pitch turned to me as I jumped below.

"Yes, Mr. Black. This is a peace offering so you just have to turn your back and leave!"

"Punz, what are you doing?"

I held Jack's hand. "I know what I'm doing. Stay calm, please..." Pitch wasn't in his position. He was behind me. "What beautiful long hair you have? It surely needs a cut!" I shivered. I can't have this cut! Or else, it'll lose its power! I backed awya from him. "Rapunzel, don'tget your hair cut." I nodded at Jack. I know perfectly why I shouldn't. And I should always be careful.

"Flower gleam and glow, let your power shine, make the clock reverse...bring back what once was mine..."

My hair started glowing. I suddenly closed my eyes and started singing the next verses. "Heal what has been hurt, chnage the fate's design. Save what has been lost, bring back what once was mine, what once was mine..." I didn't open my eyes yet. "Good work Punzie!" Jack exclaimed. No. No. I shouldn't lose concentration. Sing with your mind. Never lose concentration. Get Pitch out. Get him out!

Lights out, I collapsed.

"Punz! Punz! Wake up!"

I opened my eyes and saw Jack Frost an dthe other guardians staring at me. "What happened?" Jack smiled. "You got your hair cut. But I'm okay with it, as long as you're still alive." I looked at my hair. It turned brown. "Is it good?" Jack brushed my hair. "Even though something has changed within your appearance, you're still beautiful to me." I hugged Jack.

"Where did Pitch go?"

"We were blinded by your light, he just disappeared."

I smiled. "Looks like there's no nuisance for now at our wedding." I said to Jack and we both laughed.
