Oh lord it's so loud in here, Jack thought as he made his way into the cafeteria remembering why he preferred the quietness of the library.

Arabella had invited him to eat lunch with her earlier in the day and he couldn't say no to her. Even if it was just to discuss tutoring plans, it still meant the world to him.

Gilinsky was already at the designated table in the middle of a food war with Arabella. This was usual for the two but Jack was never there to see it.

Taylor Caniff and Shawn Mendes was also there. Taylor was pumping his fist in the air chanting 'Fight!" while Shawn, the innocent bystander, was caught in the cross fire and was being hit with food.

Taylor Caniff never talked to Jack other then to call him a mega dweeb. Shawn however, was one of the few people Jack could call a friend.

"Hey guys" Jack says quietly while sitting down next to Shawn.

"Hey man, good to see ya" Shawn says with a smile while flicking food off of his sleeve.

"Sup dude" Gilinsky says, pausing the food war to greet his best friend.

"Hey Jacky" Arabella greets with a smile. Of course Jack instantly smiled back.

For once Jack felt welcomed somewhere other than his home.

Sadly, that didn't last very long.

"Oh look, it's the antisocial faggot" Taylor sneered.

Jacks smile instantly faded as he unwrapped the sandwich he brought for lunch.

I knew I should've just stayed in the library, where I belong, Jack thought.

"Not cool asshat" Gilinsky instantly spits out to defend his friend.

Taylor never listened to Gilinsky and always pushed Jack around. Taylor was a cool dude and stood up for his friends. He didn't consider Jack a friend.

Jack knew he didn't mean it but it still stung.

As always, Taylor rolls his eyes and opens a can of Coke. Whenever thus happened Arabella was never around and if she was she would just glare at Taylor but soon forget about it.

She wasn't forgeting it this time.

"Taylor, who the fuck gave you the right to mess with Jack?" Arabella spits at Taylor with a glare like no other.

"Chill out, it was just a joke" Taylor says not taking this whole ordeal seriously.

"I'm not fucking laughing and neither is anyone else so get your head out of your ass and apologize" Arabella sneers getting angrier by the second.

"Fuck no, let it go. Don't be such a bitch." Taylor replies rolling his eyes.

"Eat a rag fuckface" Arabella retorts.

"Eat two rags!" Taylor responds.

"Did she just tell you to eat a rag?" Shawn asks Taylor laughing.

"Shut up" Taylor responds chuckling.

Jack was flattered that Arabella stood up for him and couldn't help the blush creeping on his cheeks.

"Well i'm out. Still wanna ride Bells? Taylor asks standing up.

"Yeah, just know i'm gonna kick your ass later" Arabella replies.

"Noted. See ya later guys" Taylor says waltzing out of the cafeteria.

"Aye Jacky, i'm sorry that kid can be a dick" Arabella apologizes.

Jack doesn't deserve that, he's such a good kid, Arabella thought.

"It's ok, thank you though" Jack says smiling faintly.

"Anywaz-" Arabella starts.

"Anywaz?" Gilinsky questions.

"Speaking of wazzing, I got let out niagra falls!" Shawn explains running to the bathroom.

"When does Shawn not have to pee?" Arabella asks.

"For real though" Gilinsky responds shaking his head.

"Anywaz, learning. Ew." Arabella says as disgusted as Shawn at the thin ass toilet paper in the bathroom.

It's like sandpaper. Those heahens, Shawn thought standing in front of a urnial in the boys bathroom.

"So um, Mrs. Norberry suggested tutoring Tuesdays and Thursdays" Jack starts off.

"I'm cool with that if you are" Arabella says nodding along to what Jack says.

"Oh alright. Now location. The library is always a nice option" Jack says looking to Arabella.

"Yea-" Arabella starts but is cut off by Gilinsky.

"What about your guys ride? I love you both but I ain't waiting for you two in this hell hole" Gilinsky points out.

Arabella sighs knowing Taylor wouldn't wait either and pee boy doesn't drive.

"Alright I vote for my house because why fucking not" Arabella says wanting to get this settled.

"That works for me" Jack says.

Even if it didn't he would make it work for her.
