Demons and Dragons

Chapter Two

Our next class was history, our teacher is Miss Collins, she is awful but her voice just makes the class bearable. We love making sarcastic comments about how she makes everything sound like a question; she also doesn't teach us the right thing but its okay we already know must of it and if not there is the internet!

"So can everyone please turn to page 212 ?' Miss Collins politely asked us, but instead we said in hushed tones, 'I don't know Miss, can we?' We did the work we aren't slackers, even though Night complained about actually doing work and the fact he had to catch up with us made his lesson almost unbearable for him; we just laughed at his misery and taught him about what he missed and how this stupid school works.

It was nice to have Night around us, all of a sudden we were respected and not jousted around, it was probably because no one knows how powerful Night is and that makes him dangerous and scary, so it means that Kent, the Jock, and his gang didn't bully us. We actually managed to go a whole lesson without being made fun of, which felt amazing that I didn't have to feel sad or scared about school anymore, it was like my demons had gone just like that. Poof.

We were nearing the bell that signalled the end of the lesson when all of a sudden Night looked up, smiled and stated, 'Night and Stary huh, we were defiantly meant to be friends!' Of course I agreed but I could have sworn I saw a slight frown that was soon replaced with a smile, but it must have been a figment of my imagination.

Next lesson was Physical Education which mainly meant we were fighting each other. I hated this because even though we were allowed to use our powers I wasn't allowed to use all of mine because it would be 'unfair', so I get called weak because I don't out my whole strength into the fight. Leafon, Glaceon, and myself went into the changing room, I loved the changing room because it was filled with quoted that were supposed to make us feel better and stronger. I got changed into my black top with small stars speckled over it, and my black leggings; I loved this outfit because it was so flexible and I know if I was able to use my full power one day I wouldn't be caught up on any of the plants or streaks I could create.

We got up to the sheet and saw who we were fighting, Leafon and Glaceon were battling against each other, and funnily enough I was fighting against Night. This meant that I could use my whole power and I was really happy about this, until I saw where we were fighting: the main stage. This meant that everyone would to watching, so if I made just one mistake everyone would know and everyone would make fun of me and I would become once again the loser of the school. I felt a pat on my shoulder, 'huh we are fighting that's cool, I guess it is because we are both hybrids so we can actually use our whole power, what's 'The main stage'? 'Night questions. I took a deep breath and simply answered,

'It's the stage that everyone can watch, everyone will be able to see our fight.'

'You're scared, don't worry you will be brilliant' Night sweetly smiled and dragged me off to get ready and stretch.

My thought were swirling around my head but I just told myself that I needed to focus and I could do this, I can show who they are dealing with, I mean I'm the freaking daughter of mother nature!

I can do this!
