I met a boy named Alex Slade a few weeks ago. He agreed come along with me to the Asylum. He had his own personal experience there. I got in my car to go pick Alex up to go to the Asylum. 1321 Herold Street. Ok.
I pulled up in front of his house and saw him on his porch with a worried face. His mom was standing by him. I stepped out of my car and walked up to him and his mother.
"Hey Alex, Mrs. Slade." I said in my most professional voice. "Hey Maya, are we going?" Alex said looking up at me. "Yeah, that's why I came."
"Ok Alex. I want you to be safe and stay with Maya no matter what. Love you." Mrs. Slade said to her son. "Yes mom. Love you too."
"Bye Mrs. Slade." I said walking Alex to my car.
"How long till we get there?" Alex said. "About 30 minutes."
The next 30 minutes were us talking and listening to music. I stopped about 200 yards in front of the Asylum. Well this was it, I thought. Alex and I got out and started to unload the equipment. Camera, thermal energy detector, voice box, etc. Alex carried his backpack and voice box. While I carried the thermal energy device and camera.
The place looked worse than an old McDonalds.
"Wow. The place has gotten even worse." Alex said not taking his eyes of the building. "'Are you scared Alex?" I asked him.
"Yes. I wander if they're still in there."
It was 12:45 in the afternoon and we were planning to get out by 6:00. "Well let's do this." I said walking up to the building.
The Asylum was huge. It would take at least two days to explore the whole place. I glanced up at the building with wide eyes. Swoosh. Wtf.
I shrugged it off as it being the wind. "Come on Alex, let's go in." I said walking in the dusty building. "Wow." I said under my breath.
A gigantic staircase wove it's way up to the second story. One one side of me was a hallway and the other side was a very simple room.
Alex's P.O.V
Maya told me to go into the room next to her to set the rest equipment while she made her way up the stairs. As I was setting up the voice box I heard Maya scream and call my name. "ALEX!!! AAAAHHHHHHH! HELP!"
"Oh shit." I said under my breath while running up the stairs trying to find her. I ran in the direction of her screams. Her screaming was like a pounding in my head.
I ran into a room and saw Maya being dragged into the ceiling. "Alex! Help!!!" She screamed. But it was too late. She was gone.
Maya P.O.V
I was being dragged by someone or something with rather sharp claws. What was going on? Was all I could think over my screams for help. Alex. Was he going to ok. All alone. Could he find me. I opened my eyes to reveal a dark room. I felt paralyzed. I couldn't move. Well shit, this is great. Just remain calm I told myself. But out of the corner of my eye the silhouette of a dark figure captured my attention.
