There's times in life where you just want to run, but you know if you do, you'll have to come back. That's how I felt when I got adopted years ago. My mother and father were never the best parents to me, but at least they didn't make me clean and do chores. All they did is beat the crap out of me as a child. I never knew or remembered my birth mother, but I wish I had. Long story short, I found out that my birth mother was a doctor now. She had 3 kids of her own, but why did she leave me? I also found that out too, I got to speak with her one day. Shock hit her face when I told her, "I'm your son, you know, the one you gave up years ago?"
She hugged me and told me her story about how she got pregnant at 16, and her parents made her give me up because she was so young. It all came to me, the day she brought me to the orphanage.. She was crying. I don't remember her face, or seeing anything at all, but I could hear it. I could hear her sobbing and I could feel her warm tears dropping onto my face as she took me inside the building.
