Chapter 1: A New Family is Moving in Next Door

There she was lounging by the pool just waiting to be pampered by the maids. She was a beautiful girl living the luxury life in a mansion owned by her parents, Christina Miller and Ben Miller.

Taylor, daughter to Christina and Ben studied at one of the most prestigious schools in Los Angeles called Los Angeles High School.

At the age of 8, Taylor and her sister, Alice and their parents moved back to Los Angeles after spending two years in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Taylor and her family were in Colorado Springs because her father was given a business opportunity there and they had to stay there for two years.

When Taylor was lounging by the pool, she remembered during the time they lived in Colorado Springs. They lived in a beautiful mansion, the living room's chandelier was so bright they had to put sunglasses on every time they were in the living room.

Taylor also remembered during the time she was 7 and when her sister was 10, they would play and run outside in the backyard all day and they would drive their parents crazy.

There were some rough times that Taylor had to faced when she was in Colorado Springs. She remembered the time she was bullied when she was just a new student enrolling in Colorado Springs High.

She had a miserable life back then, but everything changed during her second year there because some students already knew what she was capable of and she even made some friends along the way.

After spending two years in Colorado, Taylor and her family family moved back to Los Angeles to live a normal life and Taylor felt relieved at that time, she couldn't wait to go back home to Los Angeles, she was running around in the private jet on their way back to Los Angeles.

9 years later, she had grown up into a high school girl studying in Los Angeles High School and there she was known as the 'Queen of LAHS (Los Angeles High School) because she's not only beautiful, but also a smart and kind girl.

Also, Taylor had a sister named Alice, who she talks to every single day after school's over. Much like Taylor, Alice loved fashion.

The two sisters had a lot in common, but the only thing that aren't in common are their fashion tastes.

Taylor's more into the elegant and feminine look, while Alice is into the casual look and a little bit on the feminine side as well.

One day after school's over, Taylor was sitting in the limousine reading her favorite romance novel, 'First Love'. She was just sitting there, reading until something caught her eye.

She saw a new family moving in next door to the mansion, the family was unpacking boxes, and even though the house was only a two-storey house, it was still big and the interior and exterior was well built and beautiful.

Taylor did not care at first, but that was until she saw the parents' son probably the same age as her cleaning the backyard. The boy was so handsome, she couldn't stop imagining of marrying him one day.

After the limousine was parked, she excitedly went into the mansion wanting to tell her sister upstairs in her bedroom about the guy she just saw.

"Hi, Taylor. How was school today?", asked her sister. "Whatever. Did you saw the new family that just moved in next door, and did you see that good looking guy in the backyard? Isn't he the most dreamiest?", said Taylor feeling excited.

"Yeah, I did, and please do not tell me you've fallen in love with him", said her sister. "Whatever you say, Alice. I'm gonna end up dating him in the end. You'll see, oh, you'll see".

"You're really crazy for this boy, aren't you?", asked Alice. "You bet I am, sister!", Taylor replied happily and loudly.

"Hey, hey, hey! Keep it down, or you'll wake up mom and dad", Alice whispered. "Mom and dad are back today? I thought they'd be back home from New York tomorrow".

"No, they had to go back home today 'cause mom's been having a serious case of stress lately", said Alice. "Alice, I've been meaning to ask you something", said Taylor.

"What? Is something bothering you? Were you being bullied at school today, want me to finish it?".

"No, it's just that, I want to go next door to make the first impression, but I'm too shy to do so. I mean, should I even do that?", asked Taylor.

"I don't know 'cause it's all up to you and it's your choice, But, if you wanna do it, you better take a shower and change your outfit before you go next door 'cause if you don't, he'll look at you as a Girl Scout selling cookies in the neighborhood. He'll take a picture of you and tell his friends how terrible you'll look. You'll be the laughing stock of LA for sure", Alice said while laughing.

"HA! HA! HA! Very funny, Alice. Now I gotta pick an outfit that says I'm a nice, kind-hearted girl that lives next door, and I wanna make myself look feminine and also casual as well. Will you help me?".

"Of course! You know I would help my little sister in need", said Alice happily. "Thanks, sis. You're the best sister I could ask for", Taylor said being thankful while hugging her beloved sister.

The girls went upstairs to Taylor's first closet where she kept all her designer spring clothes and accessories.

Taylor has 4 walk-in closets in the mansion, she keeps her summer clothes and accessories in her second closet, fall's in her third closet and winter's in the fourth one.

So, basically each closet is packed and full of clothes from the four seasons and each season is for each closet. She organized everything cleanly and neatly in each closet.

"Since it's spring, we should go to your first closet upstairs", Taylor suggested. "Let's go!", said Alice cheerfully.

The girls went into the first closet, and Alice had forgotten how huge the spring closet was. Her mouth were wide open, amazed at how big the closet was.

"Stop that!", said Taylor, suddenly. "Stop what?". "Close your mouth. It's not like you're seeing this closet for the first time. You've been in this closet many times before, countless even".

"I know, but I've forgotten how huge this place was. I could spend all day in here, forever even", Alice said while happily browsing through Taylor's spring collection.

"Have you decided on a look yet, Taylor?". "Not yet, but I've narrowed it down to this. Come check these out".

Alice approached Taylor to see what she had picked. "Wow! I'm impressed", said Alice feeling proud of her little sister's fashion taste that never dissapoints her.

"Do you like it?", Taylor asked, "Like it? I love it! It's girly, it's feminine and it's so you", replied Alice.

Taylor had chosen to wear a pastel colored mini dress with white stilettos and she topped it off with simple and small pair of pearly white earrings.

Taylor took a shower in the bathroom and wore the outfit and accessories she had picked and she was ready for her first impression on the boy next door. Or at least, that's what she thought.
