You smile so brightly
To cover up how dull
Your eyes have become
Like a fresh coat of paint
On a dry-rotted wall
You look okay, sure
But we both know you're broken
You can't be repaired, you think.
I know you can be rebuilt.
So don't hide your pain,
Share it.
Rome wasn't built by one.
Why should you be any different?
