"Trump is now the new president of the United States of America! It's unbelievable, so many citizens have fought this in outrage, but now it's finally official. One can only suspect how this will affect the general public and -"

The television set was cut off by Sean pressing the power button on the remote and he senselessly shakes his head as he mocks the announcer. "One can only suspect my ass. The general public is filled with morons!" he shouts as he throws the remote at the couch as not to break it but to still add the affect that he's pissed about the situation at hand. His friend Chris was over, they had been drinking and playing card games while they await for the news that Nathan's plane had arrived.

Chris shook his head, "Sean don't get all worked up over nothing. Sure he's said some outlandish things but give him a chance, hell he hasn't even moved into the white house yet and you're already hating him. At least give him a chance."

Sean laughed fakely at Chris's remark and angrily paces the room in frustration. "I have no problem with Trump personally. He can be the biggest asshole of all time and I really couldn't care less because the only one he's hurting is himself. But when he assumes the role of presidency, and tries to fuck up the whole country? No, no I will not stand for this!"

Chris sighs as he knows that he's getting nowhere with his argument and takes another sip from his Bud Light can and looks up at the ceiling, like he's trying to see through it and look up at the stars. "Sean, I get it, this sucks, I won't lie. But if you never give someone a chance, they'll never get anything accomplished. Half of the nation feels the same way that you do, but no one can change anything."

The door opens up and releases some of the tension. Nathan walks through the opening, still wearing his military uniform. He smiles and tosses down his camouflage duffle bag, "Damn Sean you must be really heated, I could hear you from down the hall."

Sean smiles and and quickly walks over to Nathan and hugs him. "Jesus Christ what are you doing here so early? I thought you'd be here at eleven o'clock or midnight?"

Nathan hugs him back and then kneels down to untie and take off of his bright tan boots and sighs in relief from the pressure being released from his feet. "I was, but I got an early flight and took a cab over here to surprise you."

Chris politely waves at him and tries his best to make small talk. "So, how's it feel to be a marine? Killed anyone we know of yet?"

Nathan chuckles and shakes his head, "No not yet, I haven't gotten the chance to kill anyone."

Sean scratches his head in confusion, "I don't understand, how does a pilot in the Air Force get recruited to be a grunt in the Marines?"

Nathan shakes his head, "I'm not a grunt, I'm a Captain. And just so you know, I scored really well on the sharpshooting test and the leadership test. They said they had more use for me in the Marines, so I thought why not. They saw that I had college experience and that I've had leadership training before and they wanted to me to command a platoon."

Sean nods his head, "Well i'm impressed, I mean you've always been a hardworking man but finally there's some payment of that."

Nathan smiled, "Yeah, you wouldn't believe the amount of work and energy that I had to put into it. But it was worth it, and now ironically I come home to you two arguing about the very country that i'm moving up in the ranks to protect. I have to ask you, what brought this on? What are you so concerned about that you are questioning our government?"

Sean pulls out a chair for Nathan right across Chris. Nathan, being polite, sits down in it. Sean sits in between them, "Okay so hear me out. You guys are saying to saying to give him a chance, i'm saying fuck that and move on to a different method." They both look at him surprised and ask what. Sean clears his throat, trying to build the suspense. "One word, revolution! We start a god damned fucking American revolution."
