"The problem isn't how we're going to revolt, the problem is how we're going to get the American people to join our cause." Nathan makes his way over to the coffee maker and pours the water in an grabs for the grounds.

Sean poured himself a soda and just stared at it. This was a very awkward situation, they wanted to make a difference but didn't know how or where to start. As Nathan turned the coffee pot on and waited for it to brew, Sean put the cup down and addressed the room. "So where do we start?"

Nathan leans against the counter, his face stuck in mid thought. "That's a good question, i'm not a hundred percent sure where we should start exactly. I mean I know that we're going to need more followers, as great as a revolution sounds it won't be anything without any people to fuel it."

Chris walks into the kitchen and sighs, "Look i'm not trying to say that I agree with you or condone what you're doing by any means necessary, but there is a way to get the word out without alerting the authorities. If you go out in public or post anything online, the government will know it's you and you could either be killed by them or, more possibly, be thrown in jail for life. What you need to is type it, that way they won't be able to charge you based on your handwriting, and if you use anything like google docs or Microsoft word they can easily check your documents online. What you need is something old to out beat the new."

Nathan interrupted Chris, already knowing where he was going with this. "A typewriter! But If I go out and buy one they'll know, nobody buys typewriters anymore and they aren't just laying around. Jesus Christ I honestly just wish that the government couldn't keep such close tabs on us."

Sean couldn't stop smiling. "My grandfather has his old typewriter in the attic of his house. I could borrow it and you could type out what you need to there. We could go to a copy place and mass print thousands and get a group of supporters to help place it out all around Rhode Island."

Chris was really concerned, and you could tell by the look on his face.

Sean stood there thinking, "So what do we do? Do we just gather support from anybody and everybody we can and attack the white house."

Nathan shook his head, we'll host an anonymous web page using a computer from the library so they can't track us down, and we'll use one from far away, maybe in Connecticut or Massachusetts. Then we'll get as many signatures on that site as we can and when it's all said and done we'll print out all of the pages of signatures we have, and once that's done we'll organize a march to the white house with all of our supporters and the signatures in my hands. We'll give them our proposal, no, our declaration and if they reject, that's when we rebel."

Chris shakes his head, "Do you really expect us to march from Rhode Island, all the way to Virginia? And for people in places like Texas, Colorado and California to travel all the way down here to support us?"

Nathan nods his head suddenly, like he wasn't amazed by the idea of it at all, "I do realize how much of a hike this is and the limitations that we'll have. I know that a great deal of supporters won't be able to make it to the White House for many reasons. The idea of the march isn't supposed to scare them by how many people want this change, that's what the signatures are for. The idea of this is to show the percentage of people who are willing to come all this way with us on our first ever national strike. When they see the lengths that we've been going through to organize this, they'll know we're serious."

Sean clears his throat, "Nathan be honest with me, do you think that there's a snowball's chance in hell that this will go down peacefully?"

Nathan laughs at how frank Sean's question really is and tries to quickly compose himself. "Sean I would never lie to you, or anybody else for that matter who agrees with our cause and wishes to know more about it. I can't say with one-hundred percent certainty, but just based on the past in American history like the civil war that happened less than two-hundred years ago, no. The government won't give up their control and more than likely it'll get help from other nations even if the people seem to overpower the American military."

Sean leans against the counter so he doesn't fall on the floor. "So basically what you're saying is that we're screwed? Then what's the point of us risking our lives when the whole planet is rooting for us to lose?"

Nathan put his hand sportingly on Sean's shoulder. "That's not what I'm saying at all. Governments align together. When America revolted against England, it sparked revolutions across the globe in places like Africa, all the way to France. The citizens of the world will be hoping we succeed. At least educated ones will. I wouldn't suggest that we do this if I didn't think we had a good chance at succeeding at it."

Chris shakes his head, "No, there's a lot more to focus on than just aligned governments. Alliances only last for so long, eventually governments will run out of money to support the war before they they fall into debt. America, believe it or not, is one of the wealthiest countries in the world. What that means is big celebrities, we're talking Brad Pitt, Will Smith, Eminem. People of that caliber who are afraid to lose what they have, they'll pay the debt that they need to keep other countries in the fight. The sad part is if it comes to it, people like Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, Mark Cuban, fucking Donald Trump, the future president himself, would join in on the financial support. That means the entire one percent, millionaires and billionaires coming in as one and suppressing our movements for their own selfish desires."

Nathan notices Sean practically throwing up in the kitchen sink and sighs. "Yes you're completely right on that, but money can only by so much. This will be a war of attrition. We just need to hold out long enough. Sure it could take years even decades to do, but eventually the money well will dry out. Of course the obvious problem still remains, how do we get the weaponry to hold off waves of military personnel, and how do we gain and remain control of areas crucial to our victory. This is why we need to prepare for the worst."

Chris, being anxious, interrupts Nathan. "Is all of this really that important to you? All because Trump's being elected? I mean he does have good points and ideas."

This time Nathan interrupts Chris, "I'm doing this because what used to be taken seriously is now a laughing stock of the world. Running for president was once an honor, now it's a joke. I will agree that he has made some good points, but so has every hill billy with a tongue in the south. Just because he has the money to run doesn't mean he has the skill. We live in a world where open-heart surgeons make less than young adults who couldn't even pass high school because they can rap to a base line with the help of auto tune. It's time that we reform and change this system, while we still can."

"Sean clears his throat, feeling that he's ready to get back into the conversation. "So what do we do? Do we go ahead with this and basically risk everything? Nathan, if you're on board with this then I am too, and Chris, I get that you're worried. I am too. But that's not a reason to shy away from the truth."

Chris laughs, "Yeah I know, I'm just not excited to die.
