Sarah's POV
after i hit the person my drink fell dropping to the floor and splashing up on me. I hadn't even look at who I hit into , but when I did it felt like being hit again. He was GORGEOUS. He had dark brown hair and beautiful blue eyes that were staring straight into mine. it stayed like that for probably about 5 seconds but it felt like forever.
Hayes POV
When i woke up i decided to head to Starbucks. i had to get used to living in California. when i walked in she was there. Who? the most beautiful girl i had ever seen. She had long hair and amazing eyes she was perfect. i was staring but she didn't notice thank god. This girl would never even speak to me but I wanted her to be mine.
She sat there and then i heard them call out a name i thought she stood up but i was checking my phone while walking to the counter. I looked up right before i hit into to something. I saw it was her right away and stared at her while i heard her drink hit the ground. she was looking at the ground then quickly looked up at me. I probably looked creepy just staring into her blue eyes but i didn't realize until i spoke.
"omg I'm so sorry " when i said this she stopped starring at me and looked at the drink all over the floor and her. Then she stated in the cutest way " it's just a drink, and i should have been paying attention" after that she gave a shy smile, which made my heart melt. In that moment I had 2 choices say sorry again and leave her, maybe to never see this girl again or do what i did. I quickly said " no I'm really sorry let me buy you another one, please"
Sarah's POV
Was this boy really talking to me and buying me another drink!!! When he asked i was gonna say no but i got a wave of confidence and said why not. after we both got our drinks i thought he was gonna say nice to meet you and leave but instead he said "want to sit down" i nodded and sat he smiled and i thought i was gonna faint he was so cute.
we chatted and laughed and drank our drinks, but even after we finished we continued to talk. I learned a few things about this new boy. His name was Hayes (simple), he had 3 siblings(normal), and somehow i learned he was single (why would he bring that up?). After 30 minutes he stood up and i thought once again he would leave but instead he simply stated " let's go to the beach" and I smiled.
