February 14th, Tuesday, Valentine's Day
"Wake up my little flower," a voice said from far away. "Time to get ready my sweet."
I flittered my eyes open and saw my boyfriend standing next to my bed with a tray of waffles with Nutella on top, and my favorite. Topping. Ever. Strawberries. Even seeing them on T.V. makes me want to get up, go to the store and just buy all the strawberries In there. He handed me the tray with a cup of one of Starbuck's strawberry smoothies, which I only got a couple of each time a year. Now I love Starbucks, you can't go wrong there, but I'm not one of those "basic white girls" who can't STAND to go anywhere without their sugar-in-a-cup.
"Thanks I really-" I yawned like a lion but I continue. "appreciate you doing this for me."
He looks at me with his sky blue eyes and seems to grin with them. "Oh there's no problem my flower, I would do this everyday if I could."He grins, and the horn of a car honks outside.
"Mark! C'mon we're gonna be late, and I don't want Mrs. P to bust my ass of by giving me extra homework!"
The person calling for Mark, my boyfriend, was Mark's bestfriend Thomas. The usually shy kid but once you get him talking? Oh boy it's a completely other story. He just doesn't shut up not even to breathe sometimes! I don't know how him mom handles that much energy.
"Sorry April I have to go to school." He threw on his jacket and kissed me on the forehead goodbye.
"Wait! You forgot your phone." He turned around and cupped his hands waiting for me toss it to him.
"Thanks flower, see you tonight." Waving goodbye I wait for him to leave the apartment and sigh. Since I go to school online, I usually just go around the town and work on my things there. Park, café with free WIFI, etc.
Searching around for my bag, I put my laptop, notebook, pencil case, wallet, and my phone into it. Before I could shut my laptop and put it into the bag. It was the sound notification of an email. "Why would someone send me an email on Tuesday? Surely it's just one of my online teachers." I thought to myself and opened my computer fully. The only reason I was going to online school in because I wanted to find a job and still have time to go to school. I started to read the email.
"From: Unknown
To: April Barth
Dear April, you don't know who I am or what I do. But if you follow my steps no one gets hurt. Now, I know you were about to leave and head downtown to the Apache Café in Huntsville, Alabama." My jaw dropped, and eyes widened. Maybe they just guessed because he hacked my location or something. "Sure, sure you might be thinking how did he/she figure out that you live right in Huntsville, Alabama and are going to the Apache Café? No worries I'm not some stalker like some people are. So, go on down to the Café, and ask for one plain black coffee, and whatever you would usually get while you work on your online school things. Oh, right. Like I said follow my steps and no one gets hurt."
"What the fuck, so this person now knows where I live, what i'm doing, and probaly knows what online school I use!" My hand blasted over to my phone on the bedside table but before I could pick it up another email poped up in my inbox.
"From: Unknown

Also, don't you even THINK about calling someone. Like I said follow the rules and NO ONE gets hurt. Toodaloo ;)"
"Great now I can't even call Mark to come with me for safety. I guess I don't want anyone else getting hurt anyways."
