Everybody had split up into there own ways, venturing deeper into the structure. After Alex and I have been walking down this one path for what seemed like forever in silence, I decided to try and break that silence.
"I kind of feel bad for Gabriel, do you think he is the killer?"

No response, we turned down another hallway, making a right turn. "He can go burn, I would reeeally enjoy that." Alex crookedly smiled, before stopping suddenly. "What is it?" I questioned.
Alex went to one of the walls, she pulled out a pocket knife, flipped it and cut the wall. I then realised that she wasn't cutting the wall, but more like a string. The string popped, creating an sound which would case a headache if louder. "What was that?" I shifted my weight to the other leg, as I was getting tired from all of the walking. "This," she pointed to a cleverly hidden trap, she brushed some of the dust off of the floor to reveal holes where spikes would have shot up. "How did you know it was there?" I questioned, loving answers. But instead of speaking she pointed to another spot on the floor, where layed another cleverly hidden part of the trap, the pressure plate. "If we had stepped on that then..." I wondered off thought. Alex nodded and continued on walking. I begun to walk as well but she was far to ahead already. "Well, are you coming or what, Evie?" Alex questioned, as she tilted her head slightly. I giggled a bit as I ran up ahead to catch up to Alex.
I decided to take the lead since Alex has not been making any progress with these hallways, the floor creaked under my feet with every passing step I took. Only until I only heard just one pair of steps. Panicked, I checked on Alex, who was nowhere to be seen.

It was completely silent, and quiet, too quiet, It gave me goosebumps. I retraced my steps in search of Alex. Until I heard a blood curdling scream echo the building, the voice echoing through out my head. I collapsed my hands over my ears to stop the sound from breaking my eardrums. After a moment it stopped. I looked both ways before running in the direction I thought I heard it come from. I ran up a flight of stairs that I came upon and found the source. It was Jennah, who was standing on the 3rd floor staring at the darkness in disbelief. "JENNAH! Where is Kate!?" I was worried. Before Jennah started stuttering out an attempt of a sentence.
"G-G--ab- H-he- Kate was trap--ped--" I fastened up my pace up to Jennah and placed my hand on her shoulder, trying to calm her down. "Breath, now what happened Jennah."

She took a deep breath in, then out. "Kate tripped on something, I didn't see what it was. Before a gas poured into the room. I started coughing, then I realised... that Kate had been st-stabbed-" Jennah started to stutter again, but continued to try and regain her calmness once more. "Then I fell through the floor and landed up in this room, then I heard G-Gabriel screaming"

So that is where all of this debree on the floor came from, she must've stood on a hallowed out spot on the floor. So now I have to find Alex, Gabriel, and make sure Kate is alright!

"GUYS! I FINALLY FOUND YOU!" Alex ran into the empty room and started hugging me for a few seconds, before letting go. Her eyes widened a bit as she noticed the huge gaping hole in the ceiling above them. "No time for explanations, we need to find Kate, Alex!" I spoke super fast yet fluidly.
"But whyyy? The less people there is the easier it is for the both of us to find out who the killer is~!"

I was in disbelief for a slight moment before brushing it off and went on ahead, without Alex. I would be faster going alone anyhow.
