Chapter One: Rubber Bands

Hello Minna, this is my first time writing a Killua Fanfic on this account, so I hope you like it. If you have any questions or want to tell me how the book is, just comment down below. But anyway I'll have this thing called good advice of the day. Good advice of the day is bad advice so don't do this at home. I got this idea from lilsimsie, and since I liked it so much I was all like "hey it would be a great idea to do that". So if you have any bad advice, you can comment some and I'll chose them to put in my chapters. But I'll start it on the next chapter. One more thing. Rose's POV

I popped another potato chip in my mouth. I was reading one of my books "Memoirs of a Geisha" when mom called me. "Rose honey, get dressed, we're going out." My eyes lit up. I had never went out. Well I have, but only on assassin jobs. I could tell this would be fun. Quickly running down the stairs I caught up with mom.

She was putting on her dark red lipstick. "What do you mean going out" I asked excitedly. "Important occasion" she said as she kept her eyes glued on the mirror. "What type" I said with an annoyed voice.

"Family dinner" she simply said. She put up her long black hair and her green eyes looked at me. "A family occasion" I said excitedly. I jumped up and down happily. "Are we gonna see Aunt Tharissa" I asked. My mother's eyes widened. "Oh god no, she tried to EAT your baby brother" she scolded.

"It was funny to see her put Zeri in a pot full of vegetables" I protested as I pouted. Mom raised her eyebrow, but before she could say anything she was called by dad. "Sasha" he called from upstairs. "What is it Zuki" mom said halfheartedly. He didn't answer, and she rolled her eyes. "Just make sure that you dress nicely Rose" mom said before stumping up the stairs angrily. I could tell she was tense.

I shrugged and went back upstairs in my room. There wasn't any other member of my family that I knew. Well I do know my cousin Kelly, but mom knows not to keep us together. The whole house would collapse because of our fighting. That girl is really a devil!

After I was done getting dressed I admired myself in the mirror. I wore a red long dress that my aunt had gave me before she left last summer, and some black slides. My pink hair was put into two braids and my green eyes twinkled with excitement. I hadn't put any makeup on for two reasons.

One: My mom was expecting me to put it on, and two: I don't like makeup on my face. So my pale skin was looking great. I secretly packed my regular clothes in my black book bag (which I take everywhere with me) because I was hoping to start a food fight with the problem child I am, and just in case we were going to Kelly's, which I still doubt. But hey, you can never be too careful. Last of all I packed my potato chips, because I never leave without them.

"Come on Zeri" I said to my six year old brother who was on my shoulders. He happily pulled onto my nose. Classic! "Put him down, he has legs" my dad ordered for the fifth time. It was pretty obvious I wasn't gonna do it.

"Come on Zeri" I said, ignoring dad. We were right at the door, but before I could opened it mom stopped me with her arm. "Rose, don't start any trouble" she ordered. "Let me think about it ..." I looked up and then put Zeri down. "Yeah I'll try" I said with a grin. Then I quickly opened the door. I held onto my favorite person's hand.

"Zeri, we're gonna explore the place" I said with a determined grin on my face. "Explore" he said. My grin grew. "Come meet us at six at the dining room" mom called. I nodded before walking off with Zeri.
