A Life I Never Wanted

Chapter 1

   " Would you believe me if i told you??" I asked those words but thought to myself, of course no one would believe you, its the craziest story even you have ever heard. No one would ever believe you.
   "Try me." He said. The look in his eyes says that he has seen some crazy shit. But mine was about a girl who has been stuck in a house with a man that would rape her every day for a year straight. My story is about a girl that everyone will think is so pathetic that she probably never tried hard  enough to get away. The truth is he knew my weakness, i hate being paralyzed and he had a way to make me paralyzed. I went from fighting against him to just letting everything happen. I hate being paralyzed. Not being able to defend myself and move at all. I just ended up giving up and accepting fate.
   " i went undercover to help my brother get the bad guys. No one knew not even him. And the only person that found out was one of the worst ones. He took me to Nick." I remember trying to help my brother a year ago. The same brother that never seemed to even try to find me, never tried to save me. He never cared about me i guess and i was stupid to ever think he would. I mean we arent even related.
    I was adobted by his dad when his dad was in the force and found me in the burned down house. I was in the corner of the living room with my sister in my arms. She past away before the flames took the house. Six years old and her life was taken by the piece of shit dad she and I shared. He beat us day in and day out always cracked out on drugs and our mom just stood there and watched and laughed when my sister started to cry. Dad was bad that night, he beat her so bad, i knew this was the last night of her life but i couldnt do anything because he had beat me with a baseball bat. Broke both my legs. I tried my best to save my baby sister but i couldnt.
   I have been in my new home for 9 years now. I have always thought i had a good bond with my step brother but he sure proved me wrong. Oh well some one helped me get out of there. This man saved me and my brother didnt, and its sad that my night and shinning armor is a demon.

   Rob found me out. When he came into the room i could tell by his movements that he had something to tell me. He just stared at me as if i was a joke. He started laughing. " you really thought you could get away with it. That i wouldnt figure it out. Actually im surprised no one else did."
   "I have no idea what your talking about." I tried to play it cool. I went back to my drawing. I never have been good at drawing but i have a secrete identity i cant be myself in any way. I hope he is talking about something other than the truth, that my name is Cadyn Novak and i was adopted by FBI agent Brody Hunter's father when i was 9 years old and i am only here to help him find you guys and take you down.
   " You know "Kelsy", you should really be ashamed of yourself for actually thinking you could cross me and i wouldnt find out" He took a few steps toward me and i looked up from my drawing. He smiled at me. "Do i look stupid?"
   "Do you really want my honest answer, or the answer that makes you feel better?" I asked and smiled. Rob is the Big Bad Boss of this here. For months my brother has been chasing this guy for the murder of 27 people and counting. They have evidence they just dont have the master man behind it. I have the information they need, all i have to do is find a safe way out to get to my brother.
   "Cadyn Novak huh? I mean thats your name right?" He walked over and took my drawing, and threw it across the room. I havnt thought this far. I never thought i would be found out, and quite frankly i never even did or said anything questionable. I gave him no doubt, i did everything the best that it could be done. How the hell did he find out. I wanted to be calm so that he may possibly think he had been wrong. " You're probably wondering how i know. Well the truth is i check out everyone that comes to my house. You can never be too careful you know. I took your picture and seached it online. I found out that  Brody Hunter has a little sister who would have known."
   I didnt know what to do. I couldnt run past him because he was too close to the door. I couldnt jump out the window because it was 3 stories high. A broken leg wouldnt do me any good. "Look i dont know Cadyn or Brody. So maybe i should just leave since you obviously dont trust who i am."
   " Cadyn i know its you so shut the hell up and come with me." He held up his gun and pointed it to my face.
   I woke up with a jolt. Aidan was holding my hand and stroking my hair. "Shhhh its okay. You safe." I laid my head back down. Im safe, i am here with the one person that seemed to actually give a damn about me. The person who saved me from the nightmare i lived for the past year. To be out of that house is the greatest thing anyone could ever give me.
   " Thank you."
   " For what?"
   " For saving me from that horrible horrible place."
   " i would do it again if i had to. I promise you i will be your guardian angel. Well i guess guardian demon." He smiled.
   " Demon or Angel. You saved my life. I will repay you if its the last thing i do."
   " you just get some sleep for now." He smiled and started stroking my hair again. I went back to sleep.
