×Laurance's P.O.V×

I had finished making the pancakes. I called Aphmau down.

"APHMAU! YA WANT SOME PANCAKES?"

"Are they burnt?" Aphmau asked, walking down the hall.

"Gladly, no."

"Then, yes. I would love some pancakes." Aphmau said, smiling. She walked towards me and planted a kiss on my cheek. A blush ran across my face. I really didn't expect her to do that, then and there. I brushed it off and served her a stack of three pancakes. Three for me, three for her. I sat down next to her.

"You're awfully quiet." I said, "Is everything alright?"

Aphmau sighed, "I'm just worried. I don't know where Malachi and Levin are. My mother won't pick up when I call her."

"I'm sure they're fine. They're probably home. The service is probably down too." I said.

"You're not worried?"She asked.

"No. Not really." I said emotionless.

"What about that girl. Cadenza, was it?"

"Eh, she was always a jerk to me. So why should I care?" I said, gulping down my pancakes, "Besides, she's probably at some friend's house."

"Oh." She said as she took the syrup and LITERALLY poured the whole bottle.

"Woah. You sure do like your syrup." I said with a grin, trying to brighten up the day. It hasn't exactly been a nice one.

"Yes. Yes I do." She said as she started to stuff her mouth, syrup dripping from her chin.

"I'll be back." I said as I stood up to search for the napkins. I went straight to the cabinet as that's where I always put them. I opened the cabinet and there they were, I grabbed a few and went to sit down, "Here." I said handing them to Aph.

She gulped down her food, "Thanks!" She wiped the sryup off her chin and continued to stuff her face.

Same old Aph.

I smiled at the thought of her. She hasn't changed one bit. I remember when my father and I used to visit her and her mother. Those were the good days.

I knocked on the door, filled with excitement. This was always my favorite time of the day. It usually gets really lonely at home. Cadenza, my 4 year old sister, never agreed to come, she always wanted to stay at home. So, my father set up a baby sitter for her. The door opened, a cheery face on the other side. It was Aphmau's mother, Sylvanna. She was always so happy, just like her.
