"Hey Anna, come over to mine tonight. I can help you ease the pain." A guy chuckled beside her as she walked past him.
Anna has been judged as a slut because in middle school, she would rather hang out with guys than girls.
The boys don't really want her hanging out with them. At least, not all the time. Others in her high school couldn't understand the real story. They assumed that she was basically forcing herself on them against their will or something.
They deemed her a slut and she feels insecure about her body now.
"Whatever, Jace. I wouldn't sleep with an STD machine." She tries to defend herself the best she can.
"Look who's talking." He shot back.
"Yeah, you." She gives a smirk and walks away like a boss. This is Anna on the outside but nobody knows that she's shattered inside.
Jace has been her friend since elementary along with his little group of friends. "Jace, you just got fried."
"Seriously, Anna. Come over. Let's hang out." Well, this was new. She thought.
"Olivia?" She turned to her former close friend. Olive just smiled at her.
"Sure, I'll see what I can do." Her friends are coming back to her. She suspects something.
"Anna?" Max called out to her.
She turned around. "Hm?"
He then ran to her and hugged her tightly as if she was about to evaporate into thin air if he let go. She shed a silent tear at her former best friend's actions.
