Everyone expected it, but Akaashi became team captain and Bokuto frequently comes back to teach the first years new spikes and he just loves showing off Akaashi's amazing setter skills. In return Akaashi, who is usually straight faced and silent, blushes. And I don't mean a tinge of pink but his cheeks are bright fiery red and he is so embarrassed because ahh Bokuto is saying such nice things about Akaashi. After practice Bokuto tells Akaashi he's a great captain and gives him frequent hugs from behind accompanied with gentle forehead/cheek kisses. Once they're finished cleaning up they go get some simple takeout and go back to Bokuto's place and cuddle while watching movies
