Unsure

       Telling him, that is was what Nico was scared of most. Nico had loved Percy for four years and was frightened of anyone knowing, Jason knew, but Nico trusted him not to tell. Whenever Nico saw Percy or even stood next to him he would start to blush uncontrobaly and get nervous, but of course Percy was oblivious.     "Annabeth." Nico knew he couldn't replace her and  Percy's relationship, they used to be so happy together, Nico couldn't stand seeing his friend sad because he had lost her. Before he had entered Tartarus Nico had been confident enough to tell Percy, but of course a demigod's luck wasn't always the best.

      " Hey Nico!" he heard the voice that made his heart flutter, but he couldn't be with Percy so why even bother talking to him? He kept walking.      "Nico I really need to talk to you, this is important" Percy had caught up with him,  but when Nico looked at him all he could see was the boy who let Bianca get killed, the teen who had sacrificed so much and gotten so little in return, and the man who he could never be with. Nico couldn't look at him it hurt too much, so instead he focused on the scenery. The camp woods, dark and you could faintly hear the monsters that were stocked here, it was almost night.      "Look Nico, I know whats going on, why you're avoiding me" Percy took a deep breath and continued   " But I want you to know that i'm not going judge you in any way." Nico felt his heart start to beat faster, and his vision went red. In seconds he was on top of Percy with his black sword held to his neck    ''WHO TOLD YOU?" he roared, there was only one person who knew about his crush.   "Jason told me! I wanted to help you because you seemed upset and i wanted to say..."    Percy was cut off by Nico muttering to himself.       "How dare he? He promised, I can't trust anybody!"  Percy pushed Nico off of him, and pulled him into a hug.      "I wanted to tell you sorry, please don't kill Jason i pushed it out of him."    Nico was surprised, what did Percy have to be sorry for? He apologized for Bianca a long time ago and up until today he didnt even know Nico loved him.      " I wanted you to know that you're my friend and I should have noticed that I wasn't treating you right, ever since we lost Annabeth to Gaia I haven't been friendly to anyone."      Nico immediately felt guilty, he had been wishing for Percy to love him for so long that he had forgotten that Percy lost the one he  loved the most.

      "If you are gay than I accept that, you're still Nico and it doesn't change anything about you."      Never had Nico felt so free to be himself, the one he loved accepting him as an actual person and not a scary ghost kid like most people assumed he was. The sun had set and Nico could see Zoe in the stars, he remebered when he had first met Percy, he thought he was a hero because of the way he had tried to save Nico and Bianca. But now Nico saw Percy as a differen't kind of hero, one that cares for everybody and geniunly tries to make friends with them despite their differences. Nico did something he never thought he would ever have the courage to do, he grabbed Percy's shirt collar and pressed his lips to Percy's. At first Percy was unresponsive, but then he realized what was happening and kissed back, Nico couldn't believe that Percy didn't push him away. After years of rejection by everyone he half expected Percy to push him away and declare him disgusting, but Percy wrapped his arms around Nico's skinny frame and pulled him closer. When they finally came up for air Nico was in disbelief, he had just kissed the camp's legendary hero, what was everyone going to think?      "Thank you Nico, I have finally figured out my feelings for you"    Percy's beautiful green eyes sparkled, and he smiled that charming smile that melted Nico's heart.     ''And they are definitely positive."  

       Nico couldn't explain how happy he was in that moment. Percy liked him, he actually had feelings for the broken little boy who scared other people.       "Percy I don't want to push you into anything, but I want you to know that I have been dreaming about this ever since I met you." Percy just grinned, he was excited to figure out his future with Nico. He grabbed Nico's hand and they walked into camp together not caring if people saw them. Percy dropped off Nico at his cabin and kissed him on the cheek,      " I'll see you tomorrow Nickie, Get a good nights sleep okay? You deserve it." Percy waved and walked back to his cabin. Nico watched him until he was inside, then entered his own room. He pulled off his jacket and smiled bigger than he had ever, Percy, the biggest idiot he had ever met wanted to make sure he got a good night sleep and was healthy. Nico loved Percy and now he had the chance to tell him, he could tell him anything now, and they could go on dates and have a future together. Nico crawled into bed and had the best sleep he had had in years, dreaming about his beautiful boy.

      The next day Percy and Nico told the camp and Drew, daughter of Aphrodite and former head of her cabin, ran up and asked if they could be best friends and go shopping together. She finally left the couple alone when Nico and Percy gave her the scariest glares anyone will ever experience. The two boys held hands and sat at each others tables for meals, people were giving them odd looks and some even shouted at them. But most campers congratulated them and smiled when they walked into the room, Nico felt bubbly and smiled all day. It warmed Pery's heart to see him this way, he leaned down and whispered in Nico's ear; "I love it when you smile."      Nico's ears turned red and his grin got bigger. At night they watched a movie and fell asleep in eachother's arms, before he fell asleep Nico whispered   "best night ever."  He knew Percy heard him because he could feel him laugh and his arms tighten around Nico.    '' We'll have so many more like this"   Percy whispered, and they fell asleep in pure joy knowing they were safe together.
