Chapter One
“Miss Katherine, Luna and Alpha are calling for you, you need to wake up.” Clare, an Omega bowed waking me up and I groaned. “Tell them I shall be down in 15 minutes, I am going to take a quick shower.” I sighed yawning and she nodded and left. I groaned and got up and walked to my bathroom. I hopped in the shower and washed in my body wash and shampoo and conditioner that smelt of Coconuts and got out to get dressed. My hair was naturally straight and so I left it alone.
I pulled on some black leather skinny jeans and my black combat boots. Then my G-Dragon ‘One of a Kind’ T-shirt, applied black eye shadow and black eyeliner and walked down stairs. I was greeted by Dalton, My brother, coming upstairs and locking the door behind him. You are probably freaking out like what?! Well see, I haven’t ever been allowed to go outside or anything like that. I was like a normal Teenage werewolf girl, yep werewolf. The only difference was that I was locked on the top floor, just the fourth floor. I was rarely allowed to open any windows.
You are most more than asking, ‘Why get all dressed then?’ Well I am told to incase I encounter the rest of the pack. Everyone else is allowed to go and leave as they please, but not me! I am locked on this stupid fucking floor! My parents tell me it is for my protection but I doubt it! I walked into my father’s office and seen a young guy around Dalton’s age sitting across from him.
I bowed my head showing respect. “Sorry Father.” I turned to leave when he called out to me. “No stay. I have some one for you to meet someone. This is Sebastian, he is your mate. You are to be mated by the next full moon.” My father smiled proudly. “What?! No! He isn’t my mate!” I growled. Spirit, my wolf, was growling mad, she wanted her wolf and hated that he was trying to force a fake mate on me.
“Yes he is, you will not leave this house until you two are mated and you are carrying his pup!” Father growled and I glared. “He is not my real mate, It will not happen. Let me be locked in this prison instead of being mated to a fake mate!” I spat and my mother growled. “Katherine just accept this, it is for your protection.” Mom sighed.
I looked at Sebastian, he had blonde hair that reached just belong his shoulders, he had hard green eyes and a five o’clock and I did not like what my eyes saw. ‘He is not our mate. He is not suited for us. We are special as you will find out in time when we meet him. We must leave; we can’t stay and be forced.’ Spirit growled and I sighed, she was right.
“Dad, why? Why not let me die mate less since you seem to not want me outside!” I spat. “Watch your tongue!” Dad hissed. “Sir, If I may?” Sebastian asked stepping up. “Katie-“ I growled. “My name is Katherine to you! You may not call me Katie! That name is only for people who are my friends may call me!” I spat and mom slapped me.
“Luna, please do not my mate’s beautiful white skin.” Sebastian jumped up. It was true, I was white, I was pretty pale, it’s because I’ve never felt real sun on my skin, just room lights. My hair was natural snow white as well. “Get out of my sight, the date has been set.” Father growled, I growled and slammed his door going back to my room.
I grabbed my bag and put some food, clothes, money and ID and hid it under bed. I’ve watched my pack members and TV, I learned of the world through that. I studied well and as soon as dark settles I will sneak into my father’s office and escape through his window. Spirit said she would take over from there, now we only had to wait till dark.
About thirty minutes later, a knock was on my door. “Katherine, time for your training.” Dalton’s voice came from the other end of the door. I sighed and got up. Training was we trained both my human form and my wolf form. It was tiring but I had to do it. “Coming brother.” Sighed and we left for me to train.
Now it was around 7pm, it was getting dark. I quickly hopped in the shower and pulled on my black sweats and jacket. I grabbed my bag and rushed to my father’s office. I slowly opened the door and looked around. It was clear. I went to his window and pushed it open and looked down. Spirit took over and she jumped straight to the forest floor and shifted taking the bag in her jaws and running.
We ran and ran for hours. ‘Can we stop yet?’ I asked and Spirit snapped no and continued. ‘We are out of the Moon Rise Pack land; I have no idea whose land we are in now though. Be careful.’ Spirit warned and gave me back control. I continued on until I found a small creak. I sat and started drinking up the water and looked at the sun. By the height of it, it was around five am.
I run into town and shift. I wanted to find the high school and join, and that is what I did. I finally found a high school and entered it. I had on black skinny jeans and a Black Veil Brides shirt. “Hi, I am new here, I’ve been home schooled until now.” I told the lady at the desk she nodded and started typing away. The door burst in and walked four huge men, all tan and muscular stormed in. “Rouge!” One growled and I stiffened, rouge was bad, wasn’t it?
