Boy Meets Evil

Chapter 6

"One of your commanders told the whole story and he explained the current situation to us. He told us of... the concept of this base and he said we could watch your exam. We're here to cheer for you."

She knew it. She thought it would take some time. But apparently she stood at the basement, about 50 meters below the earth, no way to escape the situation, no way to escape herself. So she stood there frozen, thinking about how to react.

A normal person could not understand how she felt at the moment. Ever since she was able to use her abilities the image of her as someone strange and dangerous was created by the people from her home country C/N. Before the military found out about her, her abilities would activate themselves without her intervention. Y/N was one of the rare cases in which the genes, that give her the access to her powers, awake without the the special chemical indicator the doctors inject the recruits.

She had no control over herself and sometimes she would burn a table or her notes or she would give someone a electric shock just by touching them. That lead to the other children to avoid her and people giving her judging glares.

After she was send to the military people became nice and now someone else than her family cared for her.

Until this day Y/N believed that if a normal outsider found out she would be harassed again. Even though she met Bangtan just yesterday they kind of became important to her and she didn't want to be disliked.

But to her surprise their reaction was completely different to what she had expected.

After the meeting with Bangtan in the hallway Y/N was now standing in the middle of the training field waiting for her test to begin.

The sound of the speakers could be heard and a voice echoed through a room. "We will start now. Please let the first THB in.

There was rumble coming from the walls getting louder by the second. Finally the huge doors on the side of the wall opened and a THB slowly stepped out. It looked around, examining its surroundings. The doors closed behind it.

Y/N kept her eyes focused on the THB, analysing its every move while standing there, not moving, on this open field.
As the monster turned to her direction it locked eyes with her before it started to run at an incredible speed to attack her.

Still, she didn't budge but bent down her upper body, putting her weight onto her knees. Her hands became wet as she collected water inside of them.

The monster finally reached her and swung its fist to attack her. With no hesitation Y/N dodged the attack, sprinted to the right side of the monster and created a flood of water under her legs. This allowed her to jump onto the THB's back and she continued to surround it with water, making it wet and caging it.

The boys watched it awe at how smooth Y/N handled the situation. They were amazed. Never have they thought people like her existed, controlling the elements. Of course they were worried about her but she proved them that she could look after herself pretty good.
Their mouths hung open as she jumped off the THB, slitt under it with water surrounding her and swiftly stood up on the other side.
The monster struggled under the pressure of the water but couldn't escape it. Y/N's hand reached out to touch the water that surrounded the monster and let electricity run out of her fingertips right into the water.

The monster screamed out in pain and stumbled to the ground. It wasn't moving.
Y/N took a step closer to check on the monster. She was 90 percent sure that it was still alive but maybe the shock did it's work well.
To be honest the fight could have been over five minutes ago but the judges wanted to see her talent and experience her abilities in the process of a real fight so she needed to show more of her powers. The water could have killed it though.
