Chapter 3
Jess's PoV
The drama with Joe had started to quiet down. But my heart was still down after he called me a fat ugly bitch.
Since my cousin Martin knew about the whole thing, he started to text Joe. And Joe messaged me saying he was quitting baseball, and honestly, I wanted to know why. But he said he didn't like it in the first place.
He thinks that the guys won't forget.
THEY ARE GUYS. GUYS DON'T REMEMBER SHIT.
Ain't that the truth?
It's a few days after Christmas and a few days away from New Year's Eve. Here we come 2014. Oh jeez. I know the first mistake I'm gonna make at school. I'm going to still be writing 2013 on my paper. Don't tell me I'm not gonna be the only one.
Sucks I won't have someone to have a New Years kiss with. Oh well, its their loss. Lmfao.
Only one friend knew about the whole Joe thing, so I texted her.
"Hey bae, whats up?"
"Fucking cleaning :("
"Hahahah sucks for you, bitchhhh"
"Mkay whoreeee"
"Wanna hang out later"
"I can't, busy w/ family shit"
"Damn that sucks, was gonna see if you wanted to see Catching Fire, but damn, oh well!"
"Maybe in a few days"
"Ugh, k"
"Bye, ily"
"ily times a billie :) :* <3"
"Bye loser"
Joce and I have that kind of friendship. We can be like that to eachother for no reason, but we both know that we are kidding. Thats why I thought of her as a really good best friend, or the only friend I could really trust with things like that. She knew me like her favorite shoes. Top to bottom, she knew exactly who I was. She knew my most recent crushes, the family drama, things that were even going on in my brother's life. I knew she was the friend that I could fully trust with my life, because I knew that she trusted me with hers.
