So I've noticed recently in roleplays that I'm in that the medicine cat almost always has a disability to stop them from becoming a warrior. I decided to incorporate this in the form of: *drum roll*

Blind medicine cats!
We only ever see (or not. Oh puns.) One canon blind medicine cat, being Jayfeather. Jayfeather is (mostly) loved throughout the fandom for his quick temper and sassy attitude and of course, people will want these qualities in their OCs. Jayfeather is a great character! But there would probably be a reason for this personality. A disability, maybe?
Take Jayfeather again. He is blind (duh) and this will probably be the cause of his mistrust of other cats as he can't see what they're doing and the cause of his barbed tongue, (known for stressing out the other medicine cats. ) so he can use his words as the claws he cannot use to rake the pelts of those who enjoy him.

Enough about Jayfeather. What I really am trying to say is there is nothing wrong with having a blind oc. In fact, it can make your story better. (My main oc Thistledawn was blinded as a kit. Read his full story on my profile.) As long as you don't make ALL your medicine cats disabled.
New format! Do you like this type of advice or prefer the silly spoof-like chapters I wrote before? Tell me in the comments please <3
