Thanksgiving part 2 {chapter 3}

JO: Mom, Dad do you have everything set up?

M: yes honey everything is all done.

JO: yay, I'm excited.

As the Orlando family waits for their guests to come Hayden has something wrong with his outfit and he has nothing else to wear.

H: MOM!!!

M: YES HONEY???

H: my suit has a tear in it what do I do??

M: I'll fix it up I hope, hopefully by 7:00 pm!!

H: hurry please, I'm going to text Lauren I'm running late..

Hayden gets his phone and texts Lauren.

H: Lauren, hey um I'm going to run late..

L: oh why?

H: well..I have a tear in my suit and my mom has to fix it last minute.

L: Hayden, you're so silly!! Did you think the dress code was formal?? 😂

H: yes why? Is it causal..?

L: yes omg 😂

H: OH. THEN I GUESS ILL BE THERE IN 10 minutes!

L: Alright ttyl, Nadia and Ruby are here.

H: cya later.

Hayden runs down stairs and tells his mom what happened.

H: Mom, don't fix it, have your time with Dad. Lauren told me the dress code was casual not formal.

M: Oh! Then go ahead, I'll tell Dad to drive you to the Orlando's house.

H: No. I'll go tell him, go relax mom!

M: If that's what you want to say.

Hayden kisses his mom and says bye.
He tells his father to drive him to the Orlando's home. Hayden's Dad takes him over there and he sees Carson and Jordyn aren't there yet.

J: Carson I'm here, HURRY up it's almost 7 pm and we're going to be LATE.

C: ALRIGHT ALRIGHT!

J: I'LL WAIT DOWN HERE.

Jordyn waits for Carson and then they head over to dinner.

Back at the Orlando's.

L: hey guys we're going to play truth or dare before dinner, mom said we should play in my room.

JO: yeah our parents gave permission.

H: Alright!

N: Yay!

R: Welp..rest in pizza, hope it doesn't go bad..

C & J: mkay.
